During SIP, it's nice to have restaurants with outdoor patio dining so you can get away and relax a little without feeling cooped up. I've had this place bookmarked for a while so I was pretty excited to try it. We each got a flight of drinks. I got the margarita on the rocks flight which came with three flavors: Classic, strawberry, and mango jalapeño. My bf got the old fashioned flight which came with three flavors: Classic, bold, and orange. The drinks were all very well made. Very refreshing and enjoyable! We shared three flights of food: fried chicken, fries, and sliders. With fried chicken and fries, both flights were crispy and well executed. What's there not to like about fried chicken? With the sliders, they were decent, but nothing to really rant and rave about. I liked the chipotle burgers the best. The onion burgers were alright. Overall, this restaurant is a fun place to go to if you're going to order their flights. I feel it's definitely part of the experience that you must try! :) Service was a plus and it was a bit hard to find parking since downtown Burlingame was blocked off, but if you get lucky, the parking lot nearby (lot M) has availabilities and it's free on the weekend!

My wife and I came here for dinner when we got stranded at SFO due to a flight cancellation.

Bottom line: Great food at a reasonable price. The portions for "small plates" were large. I recommend the sliders. Great flavors and palatable presentation.

The service was fast and the waitstaff was very friendly. There was a fair amount of business and we were able to get a table ~7pm quickly. The food came out about 10 minutes after we ordered. The manager, Albert, stopped by to check in. He was also friendly and engaging.

The restaurant is located in a corner with open windows all around. There is an entire airplane hanging from the ceiling as well. The bar is inviting and I intend to go back and enjoy more of the good beer they had on tap.

Overall, I highly recommend Flights (not the one in the Marriott) if you're looking for dinner and drinks in a casual setting. It is a well managed restaurant with reasonable pricing and great food. I wish more of the restaurants in this segment came close....

Excellent customer service! Food was very good and presentation was fun. We eat out all the time and this made for a different fun experience. If you're looking for something different l highly recommend.

Excelente service, good prices in a very nice place. We had an absolutely delightful experience at Flights this evening, largely thanks to Camilo. From the moment we arrived, Camilo greeted us with a warm smile that instantly made us feel welcome. His patience with our children was exemplary, he interacted with them in such a friendly and accommodating manner that they were at ease throughout our meal.

Camilo's attentive service and genuine hospitality truly enhanced our dining experience. He was knowledgeable about the menu, offered excellent recommendations ( Flight Attendant is now my favorite cocktail), and ensured that everything was to our satisfaction. His positive attitude and cheerful demeanor made our visit memorable, and we left looking forward to returning again soon.

Flights Restaurant & Bar in Burlingame offers a unique dining experience.

The airplane-themed decor is fun and engaging, transporting you to new heights with every bite and sip. The menu is a delightful journey, with each dish and drink arriving in style, like a culinary flight attendant delivering a tasty treat.

The service was good, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We did need to advocate for more water a few times but it was as busy night and not a big deal.

The food was delicious. However, a small detail dampened our experience: The bathrooms could have used a more thorough cleaning. (There were 3 bathrooms like this!!!) All looked and smelt like they had not been cleaned in a great deal of time and were pretty pungent... It was a STRAK contrast to the overall cleanliness and attention to detail evident in the rest of the restaurant.

Despite these hiccups, Flights is definitely worth a visit. With a few adjustments, it could soar to even greater heights.

I had been wanting to come here for quite some time and recommended it to a friend to be a restaurant and bar to eat at for hosting an Olympics watch party--we unfortunately were underwhelmed, disappointed at the quality of service and lack of clear and transparent accommodations for gluten free food, ridiculous double charging asking for double the tip during payment, and unclear pricing on the menu.

One of our friend's guests had a severe and serious gluten allergy and the chefs and staff were unable to resolve the situation and even charged money for the food which was not gluten free, they had seizures in the past prior and had a headache during dinner which was cause for worry and I don't think the staff took this health and safety issue seriously at all.

I was super pissed that they charged on top of the recommended tip to total a double tip charge and I was not inclined to pay it--something must be wrong with their PoS (Point of Sale) system and I'm extremely surprised no one flagged it before.

That being said, the good and drinks were decent and okay at price but the rest of experience really fell short of expectations. The Wagyu burger was more expensive which I solid with a friend and it was fine. The nachos, drinks and fries were all okay.

I unfortunately won't be coming here again if the staff continues to think it's actually ok to ask people to double their tip charges on the bill and to treat those with allergies this way, it's not high end or upscale but bad service that does not provide basic requests or accurate payment and pricing on their menus or tabs.

Great place to host for events or large gathering. Great flights to share and try the different foods. The lamb chops was excellent but the corn was not the average corn taste you would think. I was not a fan of the corn as it did not have flavor. And the kernels were large but it was pretty airy. The flight of fries was ok. They were not crispy. They were on the soggy side so I was disappointed in the fries as our our friend was looking for some good crispy fries so we wanted to try this place out thinking the fries would be at expectations. The garlic Parmesan was good and the bbq rub one was good. Wasn't a fan of truffle oil fries maybe if it was crispier and a little more salt added it would be better. The ceviche was excellent with the yuca chips. Fresh fish for the ceviche and the yuca chips were freshly fried they were warm as it arrived at the table. The flight attendant drink was a good cock tail to try. Very flavorful and you can tastes the alcohol so you know they did not cheap out on the pour.

Not busy at all on a Thursday evening. Chill vibes.
My small group of 3 only ordered drinks & appetizers but we left satisfied so that was good enough. We enjoyed the Beer Flight & Mojito Flight (~3.5 oz each cup). My choice of flavor of the mojito flight: Watermelon. Perfect.
Our appetizers: calamari, onion rings, & ceviche. My fave of the 3: the Ahi Tuna Ceviche with the plantain chips.
Servers were friendly & attentive.
No complaints.

Unfortunately, I got a bad stomach upset after eating here. We ordered the mac & cheese and empanadas, which I found too rich, heavy, and greasy. Probably not the healthiest option.

The service was relaxed and friendly, and there's a cool plane hanging from the ceiling inside. However, the food just wasn't for me.

I had high expectations for this place and was intrigued by all the different flights they have for food and drinks, but was a little disappointed. The skewer flight was very expensive for how much food was given. With three small skewers for $23 it was not worth it, although the flavors were good.

The chicken sandwich was good, but not something that you would crave again. I got the chicken mushroom pasta to satisfy my pasta craving and was quite sad by what was brought out. I will say that chicken was flavored very well.

I think this place would be great for hanging out with a group of friends and getting drinks while snacking on some fun food flights. I came here for a dinner and it didn't really match what I was looking for.

First time trying this place and definitely a huge fan. The service was great and the burgers tasted amazing. Highly recommend if you're looking for a lively place
