Flywheel is the absolute best coffee shop, there is no comparison nearby! Arnold and the other employees are so incredibly kind and thoughtful. This is a Nicaraguan owned coffee shop and their coffee is superb.

All of my coworkers go to Flywheel and Flywheel always makes us feel special and at home. None of us would get our daily cafecitos anywhere else and we are so grateful to this amazing team!!

I highly recommend Flywheel and have yet to find another coffee shop that is better!!

best (iced) latte in FiDi... maybe even in sf(!!) without any syrups/sweeteners. simple, no frills, and STRONG. menu is small and to the point.

i usually get flavored lattes, but since they don't offer any here, i get an iced latte -- and boy, it really puts a lot of lattes around here to shame. a lot of times i get what tastes like "milk with a splash of coffee" from other spots. not here!! i have to sip it slowly because the flavor is so robust lol.

i've been twice, both during off-ish hours so service was quick even with only 1 barista. i'm in and out in no more than 10 minutes.

limited seating indoors but there are tables in a common area outside.

I am a total coffee snob.

Flywheel serves up high quality, awesome coffee.

You can tell they are serious because that's their primary set of offerings.

The folks there are friendly and the space is comfy. There are also tables outside.

Flywheel has the best coffee in downtown SF! The owner's connection to coffee, rooted in his upbringing on a Nicaraguan coffee farm, is evident in the quality of coffee here. I ordered a latte and it was so rich and bold with the perfect creamy texture. So happy I found Flywheel and can't wait to try their pourovers next.

Quality espresso drinks! My latte was delicious - smooth, beautiful latte foam art, and a strong rich flavor. Also tried the cappuccino, which has less milk and is a smaller cup size than the latte, if you'd like less milk and a stronger espresso aroma.

Service is quick despite the occasional morning lines. Staff is friendly. There are several tables and seats inside if you'd like to sit and enjoy your coffee, or people-watch through the giant windows looking out on Market St.

This location is super convenient to stop by after exiting the Montgomery and Embarcadero BART/MUNI stations. In fact, it's dangerously convenient to get to... I'll be back for sure!

New location right near Montgomery in FiDi which means another great coffee option on my way to work. My go to order is an iced latte with oat milk and something about their roast is smooth making it one of my favorites in sf.
Inside you'll find seating options but I'd say it's more of a to-go spot at least on the weekdays. The menu is pretty small but covers all the coffee basics and they even have chai. Glad to see flywheel out this way.

Very solid espresso, nice little shop downtown, there is some seating inside and service is generally pretty quick. Cortado was very nice.

I LOVED Kenya beans so much I enjoyed my cup without cream (I typically just get a splash).

Excellent coffee! You can taste the freshness of the beans for sure. Perfectly balanced pick me up in the city. Dangerous but great. Would not recommend driving here as it's real close to the intersection so not really a spot to stop n jump out for a quick coffee. They've got some pastries if you feel like a nibble and a little seating area inside. Fast service.
