I can't find a better word than "Excellent" for Ken's service and knowledge of foundation issues. I was in the middle of fix my issues with another contractor, but while making a progress with them, I felt uneasy with the contractor that I originally hired. But fortunately, I was able to get a hold of Ken and he gave me a lot of detail advice that hit right onto the main issues that I couldn't get good feel with the other contractor. And he gave me all these advice while I wasn't even his customer to begin with. After few days later, I asked if he can do my project and although he was in the middle of different projects, I was fortunate to take the little spot and his crew, Chris, did an excellent job of delivering the quality product in a timely manner with the reasonable quote. It was a pleasure working with Ken and Chris, and two thumbs up for these guys when it comes to foundation and related issues. Ken will not try to up sell his service, he is true to what's needed. You will not regret hiring Foundation Strategies and Construction!

Our home is 50 years old and is on clay soil. My husband and I knew that our foundation needed to be lifted. Ken Coleman of Foundation Strategy was who we decided to go with for this job. He knows his stuff. Ken and Juan were great to work with and very responsive to us. So glad we are done. Now we start our backyard landscape construction. I noticed a crack in the foundation slab of an add on portion of my home and was worried it might be problematic, especially considering that I am renovating the backyard and the crack may not be as noticeable after. I called Foundation Strategies and let them know about my concerns and the urgency. Ken asked me to email some photos and he reviewed them within a few hours. Ken let me know that the crack was not terrible and just needed some minor repair that I could do myself. He also let me know what to watch for to see if the crack is getting worse or the foundation settles more. I can't speak to Foundation Strategies quality of work repairing a slab, but I really appreciate their responsiveness for evaluation and not trying to upsell repairs.

I had Ken Coleman out today to visit a family home in San Jose. He measured the house and even though it was over 50 years old and had minor cracks from settlement over the years he determined the foundation did not require his services. He knows San Jose and gave me a great understanding about foundations from a layman's perspective. Seemed like a straight shooter and if you want an honest opinion he is probably a good one to ask.

We bought our first home a few months ago and would like to inspect the foundation as I had some concerns. Ken was patient, thorough and diligent and took all the time needed to ensure my concerns were evaluated. I felt sorry that I was 20 min late for our appointment due to traffic. In the end, he suggested that the issue of the foundation of our house was not as bad as I assumed. He even suggested that we don't have to fix it now as we might like to spend our limited budget more careful on fixing other issues of the house since buying a house already costs all our savings and put us in a heavy mortgage. We could revisit the foundation issue later. He even provided some advice for house maintenance to properly protect it in the future. How valuable it is in today's world!

I appreciate his time and I really would like to contact him again in the future for my foundation needs.

Good luck getting a response from them. I called multiple times with the same response each time that he would call me back which he never did. Don't bother wasting your time

My house had quite a bit of stem wall cracks.  Ken assured me that these cracks were quite normal and offered an affordable repair plan.  Ken's team came out, repaired the cracks, reinforced with carbon fiber and epoxy.  The whole process took less than a day and gave me peace of mind.  Ken was highly knowledgeable in his field, honest and very easy to work with.  Highly recommended for anyone looking for foundation related solutions.

as first home buyers we had no idea who to call to repair a foundation crack. our realtor suggested ken at foundation strategies. we were very pleased because the repair took about 2-3 hours and the total service cost was about 50% less than what we expected (that NEVER happens when buying/preparing for a home, FYI). the day of our appointment, the repairmen arrived on time & all were wearing masks (huge plus during covid!).

minus one star because of a few communication issues. we emailed ken directly about our concern. he replied within 24 hours, was extremely kind, understanding, & illustrated great customer service! hey, stuff happens, especially when it's your first home. he took care of it so graciously! would definitely refer their services to anyone.

I had foundation strategies inspect my recently purchased home after I notice a slant in the floor and some cracks on the wall. They were very knowledgeable and super friendly.
