Sean is a an excellent contractor. He built a foundation under our front porch. Throughout the project, he was punctual, knowledgeable, a great communicator, a skilled expert, and he brought in a qualified crew. I would hire him again in a second.

The sidewalk of my house sloped water to flow under my garage instead of away from the house. Unsurprisingly, this caused dry rot, termite sightings... Not only did Sean fix the problem (goodbye termites!), he made the whole experience fun and stress-free. Sean is also great at following my engineer's designs, a big plus.

He always response to my message and phone calls. He is on time and he does everything he promises. He went above and beyond to do some extra services for us. He made sure my house is strong and secured by adding more beams to support the house. He also fixed another part of the foundation, which was not discussed at the beginning of the project. Sean and his crew performed some seismic work on our home that has provided us great peace of mind. It has been 32 years since the "Not-Quite-Big-One" earthquake in 1989 and we wanted to feel safer and protect the biggest investment we own.

We have a soft story in a 2 unit building that needed retrofitting and got a thorough initial assessment by Sean. He took his time in inspecting every area and touched on every component that is essential to reinforce the garage. A seismic retrofit can be a very expensive project and he is not a proponent of overkilling with upgrades. While safety is not something to discount, he helps in understanding costs benefit of components and which will stretch the furthest for the money spent. It was a very productive consultation. We felt comfortable through all of the questions we asked.

Sean is a very knowledgable person. I'm happy I hired him to check out the house with me and my husband on a house tour. It helps us decide how much we can offer for the house with structural and other system concerns. He gave us information about different types of foundation and how it works. He also give us options to repair those problem effectively without getting us broke. What I appreciate the most is the fact that he just pointed out the problems of the house and things we should do first if we get the house. He didn't try to sell himself for the job. We got him for an hour to check out the house and he didn't waste a second of the time. I don't think he breathed much( LOL) because he tried to give as much information as possible within the time we had. I highly recommend Sean.
