Four Ace Electrical Services

We have wired-in smoke alarms, and one of them was failing and needed to be replaced. They responded to my Yelp request within minutes, and visited on-site about an hour later.

I initially planned on just having one alarm replaced, but was up-sold into replacing every alarm in the house (except for one, which appears to have been replaced by a previous owner). I understood the need for it, and that it would save me money in the long run by not needing another replacement for 10 more years.

The electricians were friendly and explained in great detail what was happening and what made the most sense for my financial situation.

After leaving to acquire the new alarms, one returned and spent the next couple hours installing and testing them. They did exactly what we agreed to, I'm thankful for the largely hassle-free experience.

If I need more electrical work done in the future, I wouldn't be against giving them another call - they gave me their magnet with their contact info.

They were fast at fixing our issue. Very nice tech. They helped us right away. Only thing I didn't care about was the packages just to get the problem diagnosed. It was confusing to me. And not sure why you just can't have someone diagnose from the box this price, nope it's not in the box so move to the next thing it could be and start at 1 price and just keep going until it's found. We paid for the big diagnostic because it would be more to go from package to package. And if I went with my gut that it was the main breaker we could have saved some money. But again haven't had to hire an electrician in awhile so maybe this is a common practice.

I asked Four Ace to take a look at my home to make sure I could support new mini-splits, it was not good news. My 80 year old home needed a complete rewire with new panels, new everything. Armando was so empathetic and explained exactly what was needed and really worked closely with me every step of the way. Leo and crew did an outstanding job, these guys really take pride in their work. I can sleep easy knowing my home is safe, up to code, and the work is guaranteed for years. All new fixtures, better outlets, and installed canned lights have given my home new life. If I could give them 10 stars I would, they deserve it.

Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the work that Four Ace Electrical Services did for me. They were reliable, skilled, and provided great customer service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of electrical services.

Called to request an estimate, price for estimate is $99. Not really sure if this would have gone toward the service if I ended up hiring them or not but either way seems excessive and prohibits being able to obtain quotes. Others I contacted this morning are requesting pictures and descriptions of the areas in which they will be working. Kinda of a bummer, they have great reviews but not willing to pay $99 for something/someone im not sure if i would end up hiring or not.

I asked for an estimate to replace my existing outside electric panel. The panel currently is 200 amp. After speaking with the tech that showed me what needed to be done just to swap out the panel with a newer one. I felt pretty good about this contractor. Until I got there estimate what a surprise $6k+.I immediately declined. I thought $3800 from another contractor was to high for needed to be done. I'm not a electrician, but I do consider myself knowledgeable and can most any handyman type work. This company must be out of there minds to charge this much monies for needled to be done. Even if permits are required and cost $600. SMUD doesn't charge to come out to turn power off and on after panel swap is Completed. I'm still shocked. would not recommend just on the estimate for what needed to be done.

Made appointment for four aces to come to our rental house. Drove to rental house and waited over 3 hours and they never showed up. Not a reliable company. They should pay me for wasting my time.

four Ace did a fantastic job of installing me a new panel. I'm super happy with their work and the professionalism throughout the project. communication was clear and their work was very meticulous.

Very good company, reliable and knowledgeable, and i would strongly recommend them.

There were some areas of the house that the electricity no longer worked. We paid a previous electrician to troubleshoot and attempt to repair it. After two trips out and $1,000 later, he couldn't fix it as it needed to be rewired from the panel and he doesn't do that. Really?

So I contacted Four Ace Electrical Services...

Leo came out and I explained what was going on. He took pictures and notes about what he saw and what needed to be done and they came back a few days later and rewired 3 new circuits from the panel to the kitchen, garbage disposal and the bathroom. Now everything works as it should! They did a great job for a reasonable price and he patched the holes the previous guy left behind.

The next time that I have an issue, I'll call Four Aces them first!
