Fox and the Hair

About six months ago, I found myself in search of a new stylist and in DESPERATE need for a change. I reached out to Fox and the Hair and was given an appointment with Faith!

A little nervous after having been to a few stylists at other salons and having my hair take a beating, I was beyond impressed with my first encounter with Faith. Not only did she take a good amount of time learning about me and my hair care routine but also brought her extensive knowledge and passion for hair care and style to the appointment, which was not only refreshing but also hopeful and exciting.

With each appointment, Faith always goes above and beyond to make sure that my needs are being met and that my hair is looking its best. Since I first appointment, my hair has not only gotten healthier, but looks 100% better. Faith is an expert when it comes to working with long layers and creating a natural, modern style and look.

The only thing I regret is not finding Faith SOONER!!

As for the salon itself, I absolutely love the light and welcoming atmosphere. It has a relaxing and kind of soothing vibe from the moment you walk in. They carry really nice hair care products from scalp treatments to earthy shampoo and conditioners and more so that your hair is taken care of, even out of the salon.

I have also gone to Ina for waxing services and love the fact that they also offer skin care services. She has not only been wonderful to work with in taking care of my skin but also brings a passion for skincare that I haven't found in a while.

All in all, I can not say enough about Faith, Ina and Fox and the Hair and would highly recommend them if you are looking for a beautiful new do, skincare that glows and a place where you feel taken care!

Gloria is amazing! I always walk out feeling like I got exactly what I asked for, she is a great listener, and knows her stuff! I recently had color, highlights and a cut, and I am getting so many compliments! She is also the best at layering, I don't think anyone has ever layered my hair as well as her. If you are looking for a great hairstylist, look no further than Gloria, you won't be disappointed.

I had the pleasure of having a scalp treatment done by the wonderful stylist Amethyst. She is so sweet I was able to book really easy with her. The salon is located in the heart of downtown Petaluma, very clean with a beautiful atmosphere. She used some amazing products that made my hair smell and feel amazing. Make your next visit with her

Ashley is the best stylist I have ever met. I started going to her when I moved to Petaluma, 12 years ago. She listens well, gives great suggestions and has a delightful personality. Would highly recommend!

I love coming to see Faith for my color touch ups and hair cuts. Faith has a keen eye for color and can mix a favorable color that will compliment your style and complexion. Faith is always accommodating in working with your schedule. The service and additional staff are all friendly and positive. The facility is clean, charming, and up to date.

Lauren is amaaaaaazing and does magic w my hair I had some faded pink and bands of color from past dye so I wasn't sure if we'd be able to achieve my lavender/silver fantasy, but she nailed it. It looks so great Lauren has gotten me on a great home care routine and my hair has been so much happier since I started seeing her! She also brings so much love and compassion to her work. I've got a back injury and was having a pain flare up, and she was both patient and accommodating. During long bleach/dye days, this is super important! Cant wait to see what we do next

I'm always delighted to show appreciation to a very awesome hairstylist. I have been going to get my hair done by FAITH. My first visit, my hair was natural brown no dye. Not exactly knowing what I wanted, she gave me options and agreed to get my first FULL BALAYAGE!!! I have dyed my hair elsewhere and because it's thick and a lot. Usually they just dye it all one color. I give her credit for the patience she has.. Always getting comments on my hair and who is this awesome hairstylist ... Usually go every 4 to 6 months however been busy and I really need to go for another full balayage. Always great atmosphere with good music and good energy. Highly recommend

Sophia is amazing! Highly recommend her, I've been looking for someone great to do my hair since I moved to the north bay last year from LA. Sophia is so intuitive, listens to what you want, and also consults you on what would work for your hair. I left with the best cut and gloss I've had in a few years. I've gotten my hair done at many many different places over the years due to moving around the Bay Area and I can honestly say without hesitation, that my experience with highlights and hair cut with Faith, has been absolutely the best. THE BEST. I don't think I can go and trust anyone else with my hair after how purely beautifully she left me walking out of the salon.
As a new mom who hasn't had her hair colored in almost 2 years, I desperately needed a mommy makeover. I wanted to try someone new, as I haven't been impressed with my latest stylist. I even had a hair cut a month prior at another salon and just didn't vibe with the stylist and was unhappy with my cut... anyway I asked around and someone had recommended Faith at this salon and I looked up her Instagram and was so impressed by her work. Still hesitant, I went online to see what services she offered and saw that I could schedule a consultation with her. I loved this as an option because it's so scary to try someone new.. you never know if you will be on the same page or if they understand the vision you have. As soon as I came for the consult with Faith and talked to her about what I wanted, we immediately clicked. We looked at swatches and different colors/ photos and she gained my confidence and I decided to book with her. And I am so sooo happy I did. She went above and beyond my expectations. Together, we chose a color and the results were just.. WOW! I've been getting compliments on my hair everyday since my appointment with her and I'm not even exaggerating. She has pure talent.
