I asked to see a pre-certification inspection report for a CPO vehicle I was interested in buying. I was sent what looked like a generic report with all the "meets standard" boxes checked except for one, but there was no information identifying the vehicle in the report. When I inquired about this, I was told the info was on another page and he would send it to me the next day.

At this point, I was skeptical, but still giving the benefit of the doubt. The next day, I was told the vehicle had sold the previous day, which seemed odd but possible. Days go by, I still see the vehicle listed. So, I inquired if the vehicle was still available. The same guy responds and says it's available.

I'm definitely not shopping there. They missed a sale.

Worst experience ever, came in excited to test drive a car and ready to buy but I walked in to a bunch of salesmen sipping boba in the back. No one came to help us or acknowledge us!!even though we went in and opened some cars to see the interior after some time of not being acknowledged we decided to go elsewhere. I now know why they have a full lot of cars. There is no one selling them

I had such a wonderful shopping experience with these gentlemen. the grueling experience of car shopping fab be so defeating at least that's how it felt before coming to Fremont Mazda but after speaking with Tom, he made it so easy and was very impressed with his customer service! They went above and beyond to not make any uncomfortable selling pitches to pressure me, they were polite and I would recommend them over any Mazda dealership in the bay.

Walked in ready to buy, was in the parking lot and inside the showroom. The staffs see us, but do not bother to care at all. Taking my business elsewhere.

Went in to sell my car on a KBB Cash offer. For those who are unaware, KBB will give you a valid cash offer for your car, and interested dealers can snatch the lead.

TL;DR: Larry D., their used car salesman, chose to lowball the hell out of me and insult me with heinous lies despite a perfect condition car.

I came in after their Buyers Assistant, Camille C. called me everyday, until I had to tell her to stop.

Upon arriving at Fremont Mazda, I arrived to the most dead dealership I've ever seen. Absolutely pitch quiet, and the salesmen who were bored by the door joked that it's the "zen".

Upon meeting Larry, he saw the car, asked some questions, and did the typical "digging" that salespeople do. Upon sharing that the car was going to be sold because of a death in the family, that quickly became a thing for him to latch onto like a parasite. Immediately after seeing the car, he mused about how bad of a condition the car was in. Went in the back and then deemd the car "Fair" condition - and gave more BS reasoning than the trash in the Milpitas landfill; "oh there's this and that that's in poor condition" "this has to be replaced" "this has to be reconditioned, the inside is filthy".

I feel like I equipped him with too much information about "why" I was selling the car, and he chose to take advantage of someone's death in the family as a reason to apply "high pressure" sales tactics to purchase the car TODAY, no matter what, with a shitty offer. He was like a shark, absolutely tenacious in pressure and trying to say you should "just sell today so you can move onto the next project".

Another parasitic sales tactic: He pulled up the dealership's "offer" - to show me the KBB offer and a shitty "Fair" offer from Fremont Mazda. The standard "show the customer two prices" to make them think they're getting a deal applies here; he kept trying to say we can give you something between our lowball and the KBB.

It's plain offensive and just bad taste to see someone who claims to be an automotive executive (per his LinkedIn) to offer the lowest offer compared to several other dealerships in which I brought the car to, and all deemed the car in perfect condition. Quite rude honestly and recommend everyone ABSOLUTELY STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP. At the very end, he came up with some lies - "oh you shouldn't go, I'm looking for this exact car at auction tomorrow, so if you sell it today it will save me the trouble."

The funny thing is I actually called him on out on his sales tactics in the moment, surprising I was seeing this level of pressure on the "BUYING" side of car dealerships. Absolutely gut wretching and disgusting behavior. All of the other dealerships in the area did not give such poor treatment. Eventually I did sell the car, to a dealership that wasn't a scam.

"Driven to succeed, nothing is impossible... Sell more cars, make more money. Build a team that treats customers like Diamonds and enjoy the ride! Highly skilled leader who gets positive results..." - Larry's LinkedIn

I want you all to re-read that and think about why someone with that last name would lie and say that customers are treated like Diamonds. What does that say about their character?

Would give a negative 10 rating if possible. Be careful in dealing with this dealership and Tom regarding leases. Do not explain lease buyout fees of $1500 added to your vehicle residual value before coming into the dealership. These fees are not noted on the lease contract. Nor, did Tom inform my daughter of other options to save $1500 by not utilizing the dealership services for a lease buyout. Total disappointed with this dealership. I hope the $1500 that they obtained from my daughter was worth it. Young people with first time lease arrangements do not know the options to obtain financing outside of the dealership nor obtaining smog services for $70 and completing your DMV services yourself. Total rip-off. Would have appreciated a professional courtesy of explaining the options.

I was charged $5k in total of repairs without fixing the issue I came in for. Fremont Mazda refuses to make it right or be held accountable in any way. they also proceeded to harass me over posting this review!

I came in because my car was shaking w engine light coming on
They said it was catalytic converter.
      They replaced it for $2600.
I drove home, and guess what my CAR'S STILL SHAKING.

      brought car back
      Said it was fuel pump
      Replaced it for $2000
      Drove home, CAR SHAKING AGAIN!!

      Came back a third time.
      Said it's the car battery.
      Replaced car battery.
Drove home, and I'm sure you know what happened.
      My car is still shaking!

Talked to service manager Bryan Kovacs (to request the legal entity name for serving), who literally yelled and argued with me about what they did, told me to ""make sure I spell his name right" and to "see him in court"! He then put the icing on his shitty service cake and hung up on me . See photos of their passive aggressive style of avoiding any sort of accountability.

      **update**
Mazda's manager is now taking to time to personally harass me over text message for posting my negative yelp review. It's sad that he enjoys spending his morning on Valentine's Day to attempt to intimidate a 33 year old mother of a newborn. See photos!

Awful shady dealership downright scammed me of my warranty!! My cars engine seizured due to a faulty thermostat, no problem it falls perfectly under the extended warranty, even the service manager agreed it does! But Mazda insisted on bringing in an inspector to see who's at fault. After inspection, he also found the reason to be due to a faulty thermostat. Okay great time to honor warranty but nope!! Mazda then decided to investigate further and FORCED me to either tear down the engine and charge me 1500$ to do so, OR they will do nothing and I'm just screwed even though I paid 2000$ for this exact issue!! Downright shady and blatant scam. Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT spend your hard earned money here there are plenty of other moral and just dealerships out there. This is not one of them.
