Friedmans Appliance

These guys are great. We moved into our house a few years ago and purchased most of our appliances from Sears. After which, we purchased our dishwasher from Friedman's. Well.....everything that came from Sears we've had problems with and their service plans were horrible. In contrast, Friedman's has been helpful, honest and provided high quality appliances (to replace the Sears ones that broke!) at a competitive price.

We bought a GE Cafe induction stove here. We asked our salesperson Brandon to convince us to buy an induction stove. I have always used gas. He did and we got it and are enjoying it. It does take getting used to

While there I price checked it on line and they were $5 more than another place. Brandon gave us a 29 credit

It's been almost 2 years since I came to Friedmans to shop for my appliances. We renovated our kitchen and needed some appliances. After visiting wolf /subzero in Burlingame we decided to come to Friedmans . We met with Ola who took his time and show us all the products. We ended up purchasing a wolf range , subzero fridge , wolf oven and cove dishwasher and ventahood.

We new the appliances were going to take a while since there was a problem with the chain supply . Eventually all our appliances make it and were installed .

We cannot be happier with their service . 5 stars.

We recently came back to a washer dryer by. Ola was not working . We still received the same great service .

I had the pleasure of meeting Darrel Clay. He was friendly, honest and professional. He helped me buy a new dryer. I didn't want any sales pitch, just the best dryer available since they were having a big weekend sale. He recommended the Electrolux. Surprisingly it was easy to understand the "dial" for different types of drying cycles. I was sold on it. I also like the added feature of removing the lint. No more messy clogs.

Eventually, I will be buying a dishwasher in a few months and washer later. I will be back for another visit to see Darrell.

P.S. I will be buying his family's BBQ Sauce and Rubs... sold online only at ClayFamilyRecipes.com... YUM! They had free samples at the sales event.

Excellent customer service. Went in and purchased a refrigerator. However, the refrigerator had quality control problems. Friedman's allowed us to come in and swap the refrigerator brand. The whole process took less than 40 minutes.

My first large appliance purchase with Friedman's went very smoothly so I didn't think twice to buy again when my fridge stopped working.

Called Friedman's and unfortunately got another salesperson who suggested we purchase a Frigidaire with Ice Maker.

She seemed really rushed and just tried to upsell to their top of the line product, but finally heard me out and got a middle of the road, seemingly decently priced product.

The salesperson neglected to tell me up front about the issues with requiring a needle shut off valve for copper line. She asked nothing about our water line. Just in it for the sale, not the customer service we had come to expect.

The Friedman crew arrives a few days later to remove the old fridge and install the new fridge ($199 extra charge). At the last minute they let us know they can't do anything because they are not allowed to connect to a copper pipe without it having a needle type connector.

We called the salesperson and she mentioned that copper is not allowed by law because it can contaminate the water in the ice maker. The cost to fix it would be mine to bear. After interviewing several licensed plumbers to make the change with costs as high as $500, finally found a local licensed plumber who added the valve for $250. So now I'm out $250 for the fix and $200 for the installation on a $1000 fridge. Again, the sales person seemed hurried and just wanted to get off the phone. She was wrong about the copper, copper can be used and is superior to plastic which can disintegrate.

Finally the crew arrived to reconnect the new fridge and haul out the old again, but this time the crew had NEVER INSTALLED an ice maker before. They got their training at our home!

The ice maker is not fully working and
we woke up to water all over the kitchen floor which ruined our newly refinished wood. Now we have to deal with getting the kitchen re-finished again!

I suggest you think twice when you call Friedman's and be wary of which sales staff you get.

I'd had a problem with repair and the extended warranty but customer service has reached out to make it right. I will wait and see if they do. This concerns a refrigerator ice maker. I think the problem is the contractor. Fingers crossed they make it right.

Amazing showroom, wonderful customer service and really solid installation! We went in for a new washer dryer, received excellent service and the installers came on time. From start to finish we felt really taken care of.

We have done business with Friedman's for over 20 years.

4 years ago we bought a GE dishwasher. It worked fine until it didn't. Luckily we bought the extended warranty.

Friedman's sent a GE repair out and he got it working until it didn't. Friedman's sent another repairman that said he fixed the issue. 2 days later we asked for another repairman. He came out and this time found the problems. Cost to repair was equal to cost to replace.

The salesman was dealing with was Oz. He was very helpful and took our case up the ladder. They agreed to credit us the sales price for our unit.

We chose to upgrade to Meile. All went very smooth.

Thank you Oz for helping us get this resolved. Yes, we did once again buy the extended warranty.

Here we go again had to get in touch with my go to person for Appliances on best deals Neel Patel at Friedmans Appliances as my dish washer and refrigerator that I keep in garage got busted back to back.
I knew what what I want and did my research on the pricing also as I was working through the details of what model and make I should go for based on customer reviews on the product based on google.com and Neel's feedback. Didn't know until I discussed with Neel that Refrigerator manufacturers make appliance for garage use only. Neel explained the difference between the in-house and garage fridge in the build which was helpful.

As always Neel quoted the best price that any other competitor and delivered the fridge and dish washer at the scheduled date. The refrigerator was missing some screws for the door handle. I told Neel and he quickly handled it by ordering the screws and followed up on it to make sure all is well.

Give Neel a call for your appliance needs at Friedmans appliances. Have been going to him for last 8 years for my needs. Neel is also reachable through email outside his office hours and very responsive.
