I had a 3 shelf steel and glass TV stand assembled by Efrain after Angi assembly company canceled two of my appointments.

Efrain was well equipped and prepared and got it assembled for me.
He was courageous and very informative about the TV stand while at my home.

Quality work. Arrived on time. Polite. Professional. Will absolutely recommend to anyone looking for assembly work.

I had difficulties with IKEA shelf assembly, and Efrain saved the day! He was able to come over on the same day I called and quickly assembled the shelf with no problems. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any furniture assembly needs!

I just had Efrain come out AGAIN--he's helped me assemble furniture for my office, home, and, now that we've moved, he came and assembled even more! He continues to blow me away with his thoughtfulness, thoroughness, and attention to detail. He put together multiple cabinets on an uneven floor in a very tight space--he was able to remove the baseboard and was able to make them all perfectly even. He always cleans up completely and is just generally nice to have around. The best thing about buying new furniture is that I have an excuse to call him-he always makes the house look so much better. And he's incredibly reasonably priced--he should really charge more!

We made a move from out of state & contacted Efrain because of the excellent reviews here. So glad we did.
Efrain put together: a platform bed, 6 drawer dresser, a small couch, small media console and 2 counter height stools for us (see photos).
5 stars doesnt seem enough. Efrain even saved us from an issue- the bed came without the hardware! But thankfully, he had extra screws that fit!
His prices are very fair & reasonable. He was professional, very nice and even went the extra distance by cutting up the boxes, bagged the packing material & helped me put the mattress on the bed.

Efrain was good to work with. I needed my kitchen island from Wayfair assembled fast for my housewarming. He knew what he was doing and the final resulted looked great and was solid. I recommend. It was a better price than Wayfair's assembly option.

I cannot no longer recommend this person anymore. I have tried to reach him numerous times but have never received any returned calls or messages. I thought he may have retired but cannot say for certain. If he is still working, I would have appreciated a response even if he was unable to help me.

Great job assembling my exercise equipment as well as explaining how to operate the machine.

I'd definitely recommended their services and use the again in the future!

I've used Efrain before to set up an apartment when I went to grad school so when work brought me back to Chicago, I didn't hesitate to call him again.

It took him about five hours to build all my IKEA and Amazon furniture:
-3 large bookshelves
-5 small bookshelves
-bed
-large TV stand
-pull out sectional sofa
-dresser
-2 counter stools
-hanging 2 mirrors

He even helped clean up and took all my boxes out! It's been about 5 days and all the furniture is extremely sturdy and well made. I also had done a bit of research into other furniture assembly services in the Chicago area and Efrain without a doubt was the most affordable option. If you need furniture assembly or just a handyman, this is definitely the best option!
