Galpao Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse

First time at this steakhouse and this location specifically. The ambiance is incredible and the food is delicious! Everything is cooked to perfection and if it isn't your special request is handled very promptly. I will definitely be coming back here as it is well worth the cost. Staff is extremely friendly and very welcoming! Good Job Galpão! 10/10 :)

I've been here twice already, and I would say this is one of the best Brazilian steakhouses I've been to. The interior is nicely decorated, and they have a fantastic salad bar with delicious options (even the rice tastes great!). Their meat selection is pretty good too. One thing I especially love about this place is their banana and honey cheese--so delicious!

However, one thing I didn't like was that the waitresses kept asking if I wanted sparkling water. Even after I said no, they still brought me sparkling water instead of tap water. I would really appreciate it if they listened to my request and provided tap water.

Despite this, I had a great experience with my friends and highly recommend this place. I'll definitely come back again.

The sides and self serve salad bar could use more options and flavors. Most Brazilian steak house have a wonderful and flavorful self serve bar. No desserts offered in self serve area. Bread options not pleasing.

Price for four of us came out to over $500 due to the expensive a la carts items.

One of the best Brazilian Steakhouses in the Bay Area and my favorite of all the chains - in particular this Walnut Creek location! I never have any issues making a reservation for a small or large party and parking isn't too bad after 6pm on the street (it's free).

They give you a card on the table where you flip to green when you want meats, and red when you need a break! Simple enough system.

Huge variety of meat options they offer - I think about 17. The staff is so friendly and great when it comes to first timers who don't speak English to their regulars. They make rotations and always come around with it fresh out of the kitchen with the crispy edges! You can always request for a protein that you want if you don't see it come around your table and they make sure they bring it right to you! My favorites are the picanha, spicy top sirlon (not even spicy, I can eat it!), grilled chicken heart, grilled shrimp, and the most AMAZING and DELICIOUS grilled pineapple with the cinnamon crust is chef's kiss. I do love that their proteins are as salty as other chain Brazilian steakhouses.

There is also a huge salad bar is help yourself with plenty of options, as well as your options for cheese and deli selection, bacon, soup, and rice! Try not to get full on the bar selections, but use it to pair and cut some of your meat.

They have a full bar here with a fine selection. They also walk around with a tequila cart if that is your thing or celebrating something special! Otherwise, you can never go wrong with a Brazilian cocktail, but my favorite is their Strawberry Caipirinha. Be careful, they know how to lead you into having a good time and offer double shots in their cocktails if you want. They also make a mean old fashion and espresso martini.

Great place to take anybody for any occasion. The price is fair to say you get what you pay for, if not more. Never had a quality issue and never gotten sick from eating too much!

Experienced another Brazilian steakhouse prior and learned Galpao Gaucho was a step up. I was impressed! The presentation, experience, and quality has far exceeded my expectations.

We opted for the full experience on a Saturday where you get both salad & sides including 17 cuts of meat. Did not have much from the salad bar which I regret. The salad bar alone was tempting, but one can eat so much. Don't be surprised finding me on a follow up visit strictly for salad and sides. Once we've tried all of the varieties of meats, we were then asked for special requests on our favorites. It was a carnivores dream!

When we were ready to check out I was surprisingly presented with an anniversary dessert flan. The occasion was for 25 years of service working for a single company. You can imagine the thoughts running through my mind for this pivotal moment in my life. I appreciated their thoughts behind this. Also, a big shout-out to the bartender mixing my drinks!

They have a very sharp staff. It was as if I was long time friends with some of them. I could not ask for more.

We knew that it wasn't a good idea to schedule Brazilian Steakhouse only 6.5 hours after Dim Sum but sometimes, you just have to do what you have to do. Naturally, we ate much less for dinner than usual.

Not to worry. We still got our money's worth! lol.

If I were to have any negative criticisms, it would be that the staff did not really pay attention to the color discs on the table nor where the guests were in their meal. While we were still working on our salad plates, servers came by with meat items even though all four of our discs were red. Also, sometimes too many management visits to the table can be worse than no visits if you're constantly interrupting conversations. It was also very disappointing that the espresso maker was out of order precluding me from getting an after-dinner latte.

On the positive side, the Salad Bar was very clean and organized. I missed a couple of items that I usually enjoy but not everyone has them all the time. They were Brazilian Thousand Island Dressing, Guacamole, Hearts of Palm. I'm also used to finding some kind of fish or seafood stew as a hot item but the last time we had Brazilian Steakhouse was pre-COVID.

Everything that I ate was delicious and everyone else in our group appeared to be satisfied as well.

An unforgettable feast at this Brazilian Steakhouse! The array of succulent meats - from rib eye to tender filet mignon - kept us coming back for more. The shrimp and lamb were cooked to perfection, and the golden steak was a true highlight. Don't miss the gourmet salad bar, complete with fresh greens and tempting toppings. Plus, the side dishes like garlic mashed potatoes and caramelized bananas added a delightful touch. And for those feeling adventurous, the grilled White Cheddar Cheese served with honey was a surprising delight. Wash it all down with their exquisite 3-year-old Clase Azul Tequila, albeit a bit pricey, but worth every sip for a truly indulgent experience.

Came to celebrate my dad's 81st. This is the best of the Brazilian steakhouses throughout the bay.

I just celebrated a big birthday here and had an amazing experience! The service is fantastic! So many wonderful choices on the salad bar. Meats were delicious! The roasted pineapple was outstanding!

Ambience, service and food are really good! Delicious meats! People are really nice as well. Salad bar so much choices! I love the mango and salads. They have this new golden steak that's very good my fave! The drinks were good i love the strawberry something , i forgot the name but it has strawberry on it. They also gave complimentary flan for my friend engagement celebration , very nice.
