Galvan's Custom Plumbing and Jesus for the win!

Lately, we've been doing some essential home updates and our water heaters were one of the most important things we had to address. Our place had no truly hot water as the tanks were from the 90s and quite corroded. I was impressed they even gave us lukewarm water, tbh. Anyway, that's too big of a job for my DIY mind to tackle so we called the awesome guy who helps my boyfriend at his business, Jesus!

Jesus is pretty busy so prepare to schedule out a bit. He arrived as scheduled, though, and even found a way to come back later because we had bought the wrong parts. SMH. We exchanged them right away based on his recommendations and now we have super hot water. Yay!

When he's working, Jesus is super focused and works fast. I tried to offer him snacks or a drink but he only took a water and concentrated wholly on the tasks for the rest of the time... until the end when he asked if we'd like to use the old tanks as yard decor or have him take them away. Haha

During his return visit, he also did a quick fix on a leaky, loud toilet and took a look at some of the other shower / faucet fixes we need help with. He's coming back next week to work on those extra plumbing issues.

We are glad to have Jesus on our team, for both business and home plumbing needs!

Noticed the water heater was leaking during the weekend. Called Monday morning and he came out on Tuesday to look at it and offer me some options. Once I decide what I wanted he left and came back Wednesday morning to install the new heater. When I called the first time I got his voicemail but he called back the same day. He is friendly and trustworthy to me. Would use him again.

Jesus was punctual and attentive. He was able to reply to our message quickly as well as scheduling us for a walkthrough of our project. He was able to answer all of our questions and thoroughly explain the pros and cons of installing the water filtration in different locations of the house. He was quick and clean during the installation. I recommend him for any more plumbing projects that you guys may have.

Our main sewer line has been having problems for years. The line was over 70 years old. Lots of roots and pipe separations. Jesus came and gave me a bid to replace the old ceramic pipe for me. His crew came on a Monday and despite running into problems, Had the 7 foot deep and a 60-foot long trench dug the line replaced by Thursday. They cleaned up the mess before they left.

Jesus is amazing! His response time and availability to come the following day was definitely appreciated. He arrived on time (even a bit early!) and fixed both issues (slow draining sink and hissing toilet) in less than a half hour. Plus his pricing seemed more than fair. Completely UNRELIABLE. I have used him 3 separate times. The first time he was great. The last two times he flaked last minute. The last and final time I had scheduled an appointment 1 month in advance. I don't live locally so I had the drive out to my rental and at 10pm the night before he text me saying "I didn't finish my other job". I kindly reminded him that I had driven up for this appointment so I needed him to come the day of the appointment or day after because at that point I wouldn't be able to find a replacement since it was 10pm the night before a 9am appointment. Since this is the second job that he has canceled last minute it have become clear that he doesn't not respect his clients time.
