GARY’S In Home Appliances Repair Service

I spoke to several refrigerator repair technicians before calling Gary. Gary informed me that my refrigerator was still under warranty and I should call the manufacturer directly. I had registered my refrigerator and the information on my registration page showed that the warranty had expired. However, when I did a little more research, Gary was correct that it was still under warranty. None of the refrigerator repair technicians inquired or offered this information. Thank you Gary for your candidness and for the cost savings of what was likely a very expensive repair!

Gary is awesome!! Our refrigerator was no longer cooling and so we found Gary on yelp and decided to contact him because of his excellent reviews. Which I could say was very spot on about Gary's work, knowledge, and expertise.
On top of that Gary had great customer service he is very communicative, on time, prepared, and very responsive.

Great communication, on time, and responsive:
*Gary would always text me 10-15 minutes in advance letting me know when he's on his way.
* We had to have another piece ordered to fix our refrigerator and so Gary said he would need to order the part and he would need to come back either the following day or Saturday. He was very clear that he will notify us once he gets confirmation the piece is available. The following day he confirmed he had the piece and could be available to install the part that needed repair.

Prepared:
* When i initially call Gary i mentioned that our fridge is no longer cooling and when he got to our place and opened the back of the fridge he confirmed the piece that needed repair. I asked if that was a part he needed to purchase he said no he has it with him and can fix it right now.

I called Gary at about 9 AM and he was able to come out the same day due to a customer cancellation. I asked Gary to come out because my refrigerator was no longer getting cold.
Gary was able to troubleshoot the issue within a few minutes. He was transparent with part and labor costs and said he didn't know if the refrigerator would be worth repairing considering the cost of the repairs. I really appreciated him being honest and it gave me the opportunity to weight my options.
Since Gary was here, I inquired about my dishwasher not draining properly. Gary looked at the dishwasher and asked if I was willing to do the repairs now? I said, absolutely! He had my dishwasher running normally again in less than 30 minutes. Gary is a true gentleman and I highly recommend him for any appliance repairs.

Gary fixed my Samsung French Door refrigerator that has had a very common Samsung issue for years....the one where it freezes the drain hole and water spills into the refrigerator under the drawers...sometimes it would freeze the fan as well. There are countless Samsung models with this issue and I've been fighting it with various Samsung and internet recommendation for years. In the last year I saw articles on the internet that a secondary defrost heater would actually fix the issue. In a last ditch effort to not have to replace it, I called Gary and he installed it for about $200 with the part included. 3 months later and the fix seems to actually be working! Very few technicians will even work on the Samsungs because they are so bad (don't buy one lol)....but if you're stuck with one give Gary a call! This is my second time using him and I find him fairly priced, honest, and skilled.

I called Gary's In Home Appliance Repair Service when my LG refrigerator stopped cooling. Gary himself picked up. When I relayed my refrigerator brand, he already knew what the issue was. He informed me the "unit dying" is a known problem with LG refrigerators, for which he receives 2-3 calls/day.

He instructed me to call the number on the label inside my refrigerator ("don't bother calling any other number"), and informed me LG would likely take responsibility for the problem. This was invaluable advice considering I had previously been directed by LG's website call a third party repair service, which quoted me $225 for a diagnostic assessment alone.

When I called the number in my refrigerator, per Gary's suggestion, the LG rep identified that my compressor is broken due to a manufacturing defect and dispatched a repairman free of charge for the next day!

I am extremely appreciative of Gary's knowledge of appliance issues and his honest advice. By instructing me to call the manufacturer instead of fixing the problem himself, Gary may have passed on a job opportunity, but he won my confidence that he's a trust-worthy appliance repairman. I will definitely call Gary with any future appliance issues.

Excellent work done by Gary! I explained the issue and sent him pictures. He came over a few days later and fixed the issue. However, the refrigerator broke down the next day. No problem; Gary came right over and changed the controller thermostat. Now it's up and running. He was informative and quick with his work. Great experience!

My refrigerator started displaying a SY EF code this morning. I called Gary and he helped me troubleshoot it over the phone. Everything appears to be working fine now, but if anything ever does go wrong with any of my appliances, he will be the first person I call. Thank you Gary!!!

Gary is great.
I called regarding loud noise with my refrigerator but he did not has any open schedule soon. But instead he walked me through with instructions which indeed addressed the issue.
I am not officially a customer but sure will if i have any home appliances needs in the future.

Gary fixed my aging refrigerator quickly, it's cooling again.

My refrigerator recently stopped cooling. It's only eight years old. You would think that they would last longer. Looking at the yelp reviews, I saw that Gary's appliance repair service and he had really good feedback. This is nothing but the truth! Not only was Gary super responsive, he fixed my refrigerator in less than two hours! His prices are very reasonable! His demeanor and character is so polite. I will make sure to call Gary every time I need help with my appliances moving forward. And get this, my oven has been out for over two years. This is a special oven that came with this 50 year old home and I could never find the parts for it. We have been without an oven since before the pandemic. While Gary was fixing my refrigerator I asked him to look at the oven as well. Guess what, he fix that too! Now I have a working refrigerator and a working oven!
