My hot water heater died and I called George Allen & Sons.
Positive interaction over the phone,
They had my new HW Heater in and working within 4 hours of my initial call.

I highly recommend them.

We have used them on our property, our rentals, and our extended family have all used them for years. They used to be a great company. However seems they have gone greatly downhill. Yesterday we had them out for a repair on piping next to the sink. They didn't introduce themselves when arriving and said "this us one of hardest jobs I've ever done". He moved our vanity and it broke one side of it (which I can do the repair so wasn't too upset). In addition he was horribly smelling of smoke.

However early next morning we saw the pipe under sink that he moved it now leaking in 2 spots. They were coming out same day "in afternoon", so wife stayed home waiting for them. They knocked they said and left their card but didn't call or anything like that. They said it's not industry policy or practice to call when at a service call. I told him I been in construction last 20 years and every company I know its their policy. He said "we've been around since 1961 and it's not the policy to call". It's COMMON SENSE....

We are not using them again and they seemed not to care. We used someone else to do the repair and are fixing what they broke. In addition they charged $220 for 45 minute (at most) and with a $10 hose they used to fix the issue. Call anyone else when needing a plumber. Horrible customer service, bad attitudes and quality has gone way downhill.

We got off to a bit of a rough start but our four plumbing issues were handled quickly. John is experienced and was able to explain what needed to be done and why. He repaired a leaky disposal, a broken outdoor faucet, got the bath sink running again and stopped the toilet from running continuously. I am very happy with the work done and I will use this company again.

We needed a plumber to fix a couple of leaking shower heads and a clogged bathroom sink. Butch showed up on time and did a fantastic job looking at all the issues I showed him and fixing everything. He was friendly and patient with all of my questions. It took him around an hour to fix 3 separate issues and the price was reasonable for the work he did.

I would definitely call them again if I need a plumber.

I've used George Allen & Sons a few time now for leaks and such. They've gotten me on their schedule quickly, done a professional job, and charged reasonable rates every time. They're my #1 choice!

We have used George Allen and Sons a couple of times and both times they provided excellent service. This recent job they came out within one hour and fixed the issue right away. I highly recommend their services if you are in need of a plumber.

I was on a ski vacation when a pipe broke at a rental property of mine. I called at least 6 local plumbers and a few could come the next day and one not for 5 days.

These guys not only retired my call but said he was done for the day and would stop by on his way home.

Within a half hour of the return call I got a photo text from my tenant that the job was done.

Two different experiences with George Allen and Sons. Butch was super professional and did great work on some plumbing repairs. We really appreciate his work. Our experience with Tyler wasn't very good. We had an emergency issue, he took a quick look, and said he would get back to us if he could find the parts. We didn't hear back for the rest of the day. We went with another plumbing business and our emergency issue was resolved the same day. We may give George Allen and Sons another try in the future as long as we can get a hold of Butch.

Installed a new water heater as my previous one had failed. They are incredibly nice, on time, and able to do work quickly to get hot water back in my house!
