We bought and paid for mannington vinyl plank and the installation . B viewed the house and said they could do the job . The day before the install they asked to change install date saying "We're running behind ." I could not wait until the following week and our install had been confirmed on the last visit to the store and fully paid, so then they said Thursday Friday instead of wed thurs. We were told getting the best crew he said. Then 1 only installer arrived and said job had to be done differently or would cause clicking . B showed up and suggested we just go with it because we might be selling . We said we wanted the job done properly and since the old laminate now had to be removed what was the extra cost ? B asked the installer and then while the installer was considering the extra cost said " Forget it -we don't want to do the job now -then told the installer " I can't afford to lose you from the big install." Looked at me and said " we'll refund everything and prepared to leave . Clearly a bigger install had come up !! I said I paid for flooring and install and at least leave the flooring . Then we discovered they had only sent 18 boxes and I had paid for 17 and then for an extra 2 to Allow for cuts = 19 . it was not on the truck . I insisted on having all the boxes I paid for but why didn't they send the last box?? It was dropped off on the porch about 10 days later .
I was refunded the install but this poor service causework

Thank you Global Carpets for your service. Your prices on carpet were very competitive. The guys that installed the carpet were so nice (so polite!!) and they cleaned up any mess they made. I only replaced carpet in my basement but now that I've e seen the end product I think I'll do the rest of my house.

Not sure what happened in earlier reviews, but we just had 800 sf of laminate flooring installed within a space of 10 days from ordering (waiting for delivery) to leveling and finished install! What a treat during a months long reno process (7+ and counting!). Kevin Low was very knowledgeable, honest, and affable in sales, while Nazir and Sadiq were absolute gems in install! Communication was constant and clear, and our flooring is great! Plus - we saved $$$ from other quotes! Have been back for other things and they really treat you as a valued customer! They've earned our respect as first choice for any flooring needs. Bravo to the team/management for such a positive experience!

Bought some flooring here, and the price was excellent. I'm doing my own installation so I can't speak to that, but Manik was courteous and efficient.

Always had been meaning to drop by here, after the historic Canadian Tire moved out of here a few years back.

Walked in here, 5 min. of browsing, 2 sales rep didn't acknowledge me, so thats why they barely get this.

Big selection though.

I had a great experience with Global Carpets. A coworker suggested I visit Global Carpets to replace about 800 sqrft of carpet in my new home in North Van. We had a very tight timeline of possession to move-in and global carpets met my expectations completely. We visited the showroom and Ash helped us to find a carpet that fit our budget and taste he then came to our home to quote the job. The price was great and the installation was quick and professional. The carpet looks fantastic in our new home.

Terrible service and attitude. My wife and I found the flooring we wanted here and when we came in to purchase a week later, they had raised the price on us. We could not find this specific flooring anywhere else, so we went ahead with our purchase and I totally regret it. While the product was good, it was the worst service. Make sure you review their cost calculation because they "mistakenly" added a couple hundred dollars to my bill before I called them out on it. Jimmy gives you false promises....the delivery won't come when you want it and you can't return the excess product you end up having. And to top it off, he yells at you when you complain or just avoids you altogether. The worst service experience I've ever had. Do yourself a favour and buy your flooring somewhere else.

Have used this company several times, for product and installation. I've even recommended them to others, which I now regret. The products are okay, but installation has been poor. And in one case, the entire floor had to be replaced due to faulty installation.

Bad attitude and service. The owner, Jimmy has no idea in giving good service, so I can't expect the employees do.
I regret gave my business to this company.
They don't hear what you have to say, instead just raised the voice.

Trust me and spend money elsewhere.
