In the middle of a heat wave, our air conditioner unit started leaking. Global Heating and Cooling provided much needed relief with the best customer service. First, Joey came by and immediately diagnosed the issue and explained my options in clear language with reasonable pricing. I felt Joey was on my side trying to help me, not looking to up-charge. Then Joey immediately called in and tried to find the nearest appt. Heat wave remember? Unfortunately, though he tried, it was 6 days away. No choice-I accepted. 2 days later- Global Heating and Cooling, as if knowing the discomfort my family and I were feeling, called and said they found an earlier appointment! Francis came and, with friendly, professional, and efficient customer service, fixed the issue. Francis is awesome! And now we are fortunate enough to escape the heat because of the expertise and support from Joey, Francis, and Global Hearting and Cooling. I'll turn to them for all my air conditioning needs in the future and will recommend to all family and friends.

For quick background, I have a Google Learning Thermostat 3rd generation that was "dying" and had to constantly disconnect it from the wall to charge it for it to die after a few hours.

Googling around the solution was simple: either install a C-wire or Google Power Connector.

I had already gone through four of five service calls to different HVAC businesses to get a quote on this work, and finally got John on the horn. I explained the situation:
- Personally installed January 2024
- Expressed that I needed a c-wire or Google Power Connector
- I had the following wires configured: yellow on Y1, green on G, blue on OB, red on Rc, and white on W1.
- Snapshots of my furnace (I didn't know what I had so this was the best way to share the information)

With this information, he quickly got his brain working and provided me some suggestions. He wanted to save me some time if he could without having to make a trip out. He explained that I don't need blue on OB and we may be able to repurpose this over to C to provide me the c-wire I needed. He guided me on how to take off the furnace panel, the secondary panel and where to connect reconnect the blue wire.

Luckily for me, the blue wire was not even connected to the board. This was as simple as a plug-and-play. Once I did this, closed up the furnace, and re-wired the thermostat hardware plate, it started working like a beauty!!

Really appreciate the over-the-phone support he provided. Coming from an IT Support background, phone calls can be challenging when dealing with folks who may not have the "technical background". He was able to simplify things as much as possible to provide a solid solution.

Needless to say, will be sharing his number for friends/family for when they run into trouble with their HVAC systems. Highly appreciate John for his support today!

I want to leave a review for those who want to get the service of this company since super hot season right now and ACs are a must: Had service done couple of years ago and here's the breakdown of charges:

AC capacitor- was charged $225
Amazon less than
$20

AC compressor saver- charged
$375 -Amazon exact same thing $15

Diagnostic fee- $140

Overall, paid $690!!!!! for parts that's worth less than $35!! So if your ACs got diagnosed and were told these 2 need to be rwplaced, do your research first. If you have the money, go for it! If not, shop around!!!!!!

Have been using this company for our ac and heating issues for the past couple of years and have never been disappointed! Our ac stopped working suddenly and I was legit worried since we have a newborn and a toddler who like the house cool. We contacted them and they were able to come out the following morning before the heatwave! Joey and John are so knowledgeable and professional - absolutely recommend them!!

I had one of the most delightful experiences in working with a service provider when I worked with John (Giovanni). He was available the earliest, prompt at responding, and a highly competent. John quickly diagnosed the issue and resolved the problem with the right part on-hand. Beyond his professional skills, you can tell not long after talking with him, that he's a sincere guy with a big heart, who genuinely enjoys helping people.

Yah, like just about every single person has said - this company rocks! It's what you expect from a service vendor if you're old enough to recall what white glove service used to be. Joey was dynamite - he was attentive and communicative and even helped to cleanup a mess that WE had made. He took care of a serious ventilation issue we had inadvertently created with out dryer. These guys are now our go to for everything HVAC

I had a similar bad experience as mentioned in someone's review here.
The kid comes for inspection. Quotes $425 for changing the capacitor. When I asked to give break down for part and labor, he gets agitated and tells me I can't buy the part anywhere because I don't have the license. When insisted he said the capacitor is like $225 and his labor is $200. Without stopping he goes on to say that he had to drive his "butt" all the way and that's why his labor is that much. He continues on and on to justify his labor fees that he works 15 hours a day and doing repairs for me means losing other opportunities.
The whole experience with this kid was unpleasant as he sounded very arrogant and agitated most of the time.

Third time using these guys. We installed a separate heat pump into our attic - 100 year old home. The guys dealt with old wiring, plaster ceilings, kids rooms, attic, you name it. Always prompt and a great crew, explained stuff detailed, cleaned up, and were super friendly. Their price was cheaper than most other places by 20-30 percent but the work was just as great if not better and the crew is what made a difference. Don't hesitate to call these guys up!
