Go Truck Go

We hired Go Truck Go to move to our new house recently and were super impressed. Their rate was very good, and their movers were fantastic. They arrived exactly on time, and had everything needed to make the move go smoothly. It was pouring rain, so I was so glad that they had plastic to cover furniture and they had plenty of mats to place on the floor so as not to dirty the floors. They also had extra large boxes to put larger items or ones that weren't packed into boxes before they arrived. They were fast, efficient and polite - I could not have asked for better movers! I have hired movers in the past and have been very disappointed. The last movers I hired were so slow that I had to start moving furniture on my own. That was definitely not the case here! I would not hesitate to recommend Go Truck Go to anyone, and would definitely hire them again for another move!

Richard and His company have done 2 moves for me and they went so well I booked and paid for his company to move my Mom and Dad into their retirement apartments.

I also had them help move my son, who is a person with disabilities into his new suite and he had all sorts of specific issues and requirements about the move and they guys were amazing and patient with him - fulfilled ever requirement perfectly.

They even helped my mom set up her bed because we couldn't make it over to help her.

Obviously, all our personal belongings and furniture was treated carefully. Up front realistic quotes. Friendly, hardworking and careful movers!

There are many choices but I am glad that I picked Go Truck Go.
Dave and Gearoid work fast and efficient. They are friendly and also offer good advices to make the whole process so much more smooth. Their rate is also very competitive and reasonable. If your objective is to get stuff moved, you cannot go wrong. I was also hopping that they would help me to clean up a pile of junk in my garage, but they were upfront and clear that its not part of their service. I appreciate the honesty. Overall, its a 10 out of 10 stars experience and I am glad that they sent Dave and Gearoid.

Let's face it, moving sucks. Luckily companies like this one make it a bit less sucky. Richard was very prompt with his responses and was helpful when I asked a million and one questions. I used them for both junk removal and moving, and it was so handy. Everyone I dealt with was on time, efficient and very personable - which was a nice cherry on top. I hope I don't have to use them again because, again, moving sucks. But if I do find myself needing this kind of service again, I'd definitely be giving them a ring.

I can't believe I haven't done a review yet. We used go truck go for our move during the pandemic. Sean was extremely responsive and accommodated us on dates, times, movers and truck required.

The move was quick and easily. They arrived on time with the equipment expected and the move was completed within 2 hours.

You can get supplies from them as well and they offered us a free mattress cover so that was very much appreciated.

Of course, with any move, the more prepared you are the easier the process would be. We had everything packaged and wrapped by the time they arrived so everything was smooth sailing. Their pricing is extremely competitive as well and at the time of our booking it was actually cheaper than other quotes on the market. We decided to go with Go Truck Go based on cost, but were pleasantly surprised by the friendly service, care placed into moving our items and we did not have anything damaged at all!

Great company. Excellent communication and very accurate quote. Movers we're very efficient, friendly and polite. I have zero complaints and highly recommend this company.

Richard offered a 7 stars customer experience, far better than anyone from any other moving company I contacted, he is the reason I chose Go Truck Go actually, the price was by far the cheapest, sometimes 3 times cheaper (!!!), and the service provided by the extremely hard working moving guys was fabulous. A long distance across the province move, that was done flawlessly, at the cheapest price, with the best experience! I only wish I would have more money to tip the guys more, they simply deserve it ! Thank you Richard and the team !!!

The short:

The long:
- Sean helped me with quotes and coordination, and we fairly responsive
- they helped me move from a 2-bedroom apartment in Vancouver to a townhome in Coquitlam
- movers arrived on time
- all items were moved safely and efficiently (3.5 hours of move time excluding travel time of 1 hour)
- I was very happy to see a company which encourages female movers. Mel is the first female mover I came across in my experience with 5-7 moving companies. Mel mentioned that she has rarely come across female movers as well, and the moving industry and certain customers do not seem to be very inclusive of female movers.
- Jason (the lead/driver) kindly waived the stair fee as I had limited stairs and very few items that were moved across stairs
- low rates relative to other companies
- good covid measures: movers wore masks
- movers took care to keep the carpeted areas clean by taking their shoes off
- movers were very nice to talk to and joyful. They love the company they work for.

These guys are terrific! Right on time on moving day, they worked professionally and took care of all the small details too. All 3 guys were very friendly (funny too!), hard-working, a great team, and they had us all moved out of our 11th floor 2 bdrm unit and into a 3rd floor condo 5km away in only 3 hrs and 15 minutes. And, there wasn't even a scratch on any items, or on any doors or walls (they use blankets and wrap on almost everything). Very impressive! Price was exactly as quoted, no surprises. The whole experience with Go Truck Go, including booking the move online on their website, was absolutely 100% top-notch. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for your next move.

So glad I listened to all the reviews. These guys are great!!! ( Yes, three exclamation marks.) Duncan and Luke showed up on time, were super pleasant to deal with and got my stuff safely to my new apartment - that was two flights up and had no elevator. There were no hidden fees and I got my move done on time and on budget. I hope I don't have to move any time soon but if I did, I would 100% hire them again. Thanks, guys!

Could not have been more impressed with this company so am leaving a 5 star review.

I tried their user friendly website to submit an estimate request, Sean got back to me right away with a very fair quote. Two super polite and friendly Irish gents showed up on time (called me 15 mins before arrival to allow me time to get ready) shook my hand and got straight to work. The two of them emptied my entire apartment in less than 1.5 hrs it was amazing to watch. Although they worked quickly, everything was wrapped and transported with respect and care. I had a lot of very fragile and valuable items but every single piece arrived to my new home without a scratch or ding.

I was super anxious about using a moving company but will definitely use Go Truck Go again. Both Sean and the two movers were super professional and put me at ease, I will be recommending them to all of my family/friends. Thanks guys! ~alvin
