Golden Gate Helicopters

Such an incredible experience!! My boyfriend has always wanted to take pictures of the city from the sky so I booked us a helicopter tour with Tim. Tim was so helpful and accommodating. The ride was smoother than expected by far and the views were unbeatable. I would without a doubt recommend Tim and this experience for anyone!

I won't discuss what an amazing job my husband did for our anniversary. What I will talk about is how awesome Tim and Tom are and what an even more awesome time I had on their helicopter tour.

Ok, fine, just a tidbit about the anniversary...my man booked Golden Gate Helicopters to take us to Napa for a special dinner. When we drove up to the super exclusive (never before known by us) private airline portion of SFO airport, I had the opportunity to meet Tim and Tom. Both greeted us with welcoming smiles and gave us a little insight on what it feels like to go on a helicopter (think of yourself as sitting on a washing machine was their analogy). Basically, we weren't blindly led to a helicopter for the first time and told to put on our seat belts. A very good explanation was provided to us and it really calmed me down because I realized I was slightly freaked out.

Tim and Tom have a ridiculous amount of experience and they share a great sense of humor. The ride to Napa and back was beyond excellent - I got to experience the Bay Area in a never before seen way - from thousands of miles up in the sky!

Everything was smooth except for one funny little episode where my husband asked if Tim and Tom wanted to "crash" at our place due to the fog rolling in...while we were in mid air! Haha...not.

Helicopter tours/rides ain't cheap, but I highly recommend this luxurious "ride" for a truly unforgettable, special and unique event in your life. Kudos and thank you again T&T!

5+++ Stars for Golden Gate Helicopter Tours! From the beginning everything went smoothly.. couldn't have asked for a better way to explore San Francisco. The view from above was spectacular to say the least! Our pilot Lauren was very sweet, knowledgeable about the Bay Area and great at conversing with our group. The level of service and professionalism showed by Golden Gate was again great; they make you feel like a VIP. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

So I'm visiting from Orange County and I'm only here for a few days. My buddy booked us a heli for tonight. I flew up here looking forward to this flight. Two of the people drove over two hours for this heli ride. They just told us, an hour before our flight..that they double booked us and that they are "sorry." I'm sorry but that's ridiculous, especially since they've been asking us questions all day about our weight and such. They should be trying to fix it or at least make us (the customer) happy.

Awesome! Surprised my husband for his 50th birthday in early March. Booked a tour of the bay and then on to Sullivan Winery in Napa for tasting. The entire trip was scenic. Our very capable pilots were Tim and Sean. Personable and fun, they made for a great day. A definite treat to see the coast from a birds eye view. Next trip will be a sunset flight!

Ive done new york, grand canyon, sedona, mount rushmore, all good experiences but not the best!
If you want t o experience the bay area then let Tim and Tommy give you a trip like no other you have ever experienced!

Tim absolutely earned his stars and money on this one! We had booked the Bay Tour with wine tasting, only to find out that the winery was no longer allowed to take helicopter landings just days before our flight. We had agreed on a slightly less glamorous option, but Tim must have been working the phones hard that morning because he came up with the perfect solution. After touring the Bay, we landed at Ram's Gate Winery, where we were greeted with a cold glass of Pinot Blanc. They offered a private tour by a very knowledgeable guide that took us through the whole site. After that, we had an hour for a full wine tasting with a great view. Made the quick trip back to Buchanan. We were over the moon! The trip was worth every penny.
