Golden State Towing

We got stranded in an airport parking lot with a flat tire. Called Golden State and within 15 minutes we had help! Driver was fast and friendly! Highly recommend!

Came right away and had a brand spanking new flatbed tow truck that took only about 2 mins to load up.

My vehicle was illegally towed from a public parking lot in San Francisco. I was in a city office for about 15 minutes when I walked out I saw my vehicle n the back of a Golden State Flatbed with the alarm blaring. There is no way that they responded to a dispatch for a tow. It turns out that they don't even have a tow yard. To top it off my vehicle is not listed on the SFPD list of recently towed cars violating the rule of contacting the SFPD within 30 minutes of a vehicle being towed!

Terrible company; recommend through AAA and they never came. You will definitely be stranded if you're relying on them.

My 2016 Z51 Corvette needed to be towed and I wanted a flat-bed tow truck. I was very picky due to the low clearance and front spoiler so I called a number of towing companies. Some used wooden boards to fill the gap between the tipped-up bed and the street, and some were very expensive. I'm really happy to have found Golden State Towing. Their flat bed was in great condition and they had the perfect size race ramps to roll the car onto the bed. I understand that they have towed Corvettes numerous times, and it shows! The two operators were Jose and Juan who were friendly and courteous, and really knew what they were doing. They were very careful loading the car and used tire straps to secure it. Golden States' rates are very good as well, so well worth it to have my dream car moved so carefully. I highly recommend them!

Our rental car got broken into and the rear windshield window got smashed. Sione was easy to talk to, comforting to speak with because he was speaking in a calm manner and empathetic about our whole ordeal. He went and picked up our rental car for towing past 11pm which we are very grateful for. Some people might get annoyed having to work at those hours but he really made us feel safe and gain our trust in this towing company.

I recognize pickup estimates are just that, an estimate. However, I don't know how they are making these estimates. ETA was 45 min, called after 50 min and the dispatch said he 'had no idea' how I had been given that information. Well, it was texted to me by the company. Might be another half hour.... It might be wiser to give a more generic estimate, pick up window within some number of hours or something to that effect.

didn't show up as promised. dealing with insurance company and on the phone with them. I waited 4 hours after they said 60-90 minutes. I had called
my insurance many times during this process. Called tow company and they said that they showed and no one was available. No call, did not come to residence. Went back and reviewed cameras and the did stop o the street for 45 seconds and then left. It took me 6 hours for
them to say the CANCELLED MY TOW, and i was not notified. The 2 minutes i was not sitting in my car i had to go to the bathroom. i would not recommend or use them. The difference is I have the camera to prove what i am saying, no call, no knock, only stopped on the street then left.
They notified the insurance company that trip was completed.

Sione went above and beyond and saved me from a blown out tire on Hwy 101-N on a Friday night! He called me when he was on his way to find my exact location and offered to call police if I didn't feel safe and wanted traffic control assistance. Sione was professional and friendly, which made me feel at ease despite the stressful situation. I expected him to tow my car from the emergency lane to my destination given the danger of changing a tire on the passenger side next to the fast lane of the highway at night, but Sione braved it to change my tire to my donut wheel on the spot! He was efficient and then helped me get onto the freeway by using his tow truck behind me to slow down oncoming traffic while I sped up. He also called me a few minutes later to ensure I'm doing okay and to remind me of the safe speed limit while driving with a spare tire. Thank you so much, Sione! You saved me from having to change the tire myself in the city to get to the tire shop the next morning. I highly recommend Golden State Towing when you're in an auto pickle.

Thanks to the big guy, Sione... Our company ambulance broke down and my co workers and I waited so long for a tow company at the Kaiser hospital in Redwood City. Our dispatch reached out to a couple compaies and we got a call from Golden State towing that the tow will arrive within 45 minutes. We got a call shortly from the driver and advised he'll be arriving soon and he surely did. We were so happy with the quick respond and great service the driver provided. We want thank you very much Sione for your help and getting us and our company truck back to our station safely. Highly recommend Golden state towing for service if in the SF- Peninsula and San Mateo county area.

Requested assistance from my insurance company after my car stopped on the freeway. Sione arrived within 20 minutes of my request and found where I was even though it was a around 4AM, dark, and I was so tired I was having trouble giving proper directions. Absolutely great service, recommended me to a great shop and got me out of the sticky situation. Great towing company all around especially with all of the predatory towing companies in the area I'd highly recommend these guys and again thank you to Sione!
