Gonzales Landscaping

Wow, this month has been super chaotic... moving is much harder than I remembered. Fortunately, Guadalupe and his crew did their part to make our move a little less stressful than it could have been. We appreciate them!

So basically, we were moving into a house in Santa Cruz County that needed some hard-core tree and bush removal so we could do a termite tenting before we moved in. We are on a tight timeline and wasn't even really sure what the best approach would be. Guadalupe was one of the three landscaper estimates we got and, though the estimate prices were comparable, we decided to go with him because we really liked him and his ideas. We also liked the fact that he mentioned he can arrange / help with much more than landscaping when we need extra help. That's was great to hear in a time where it's not easy to find reliable skilled crews.

So... fast forward, he gave us an estimate and timeframe and stuck to it. He took notes on what we needed to help the house, how I wanted the trees trimmed, and offered suggestions (like when he thought I'd be unhappy with my results of severe trimming). Then the crew removed and/or trimmed trees, bushes, and even an old shed for us. We were able to meet the timeline of our termite tenting and end-of-month move in.

Without question for me, having used Guadalupe Gonzales landscaping and his Team for many years, they are one of the best, loyalty goes a along way from both sides, for many years. I left a message yesterday morning and still haven't heard from anyone. As a business that's in business reaching new customers should be a priority.

Guadalupe is an excellent choice when looking for a landscaping company that is fairly priced, responsive and professional. I really appreciated that he asks owners before using round-up. Highly recommended!

Tues, 4/28/2015 - I spoke to Mr. Guadalupe Gonzalez at mobile number. Made an appt. for Friday, May 1 at 11am to look at our yards. The job: weeds pulled, backyard's and sideyard's weed-block fabric removed, chicken wire stays, medium fir bark installed, 3,500 sf.

Fri, 5/1 - Blew us off. No show. No phone call. No nothing. 1:30pm, I emailed him, text messaged him, left phone messages at both cell and main number. My husband took a day off for this appt.

Tues, 5/4 - Have not heard from him. He had some "'splaining to do." At this point, since we have not heard from him all weekend, and he has not been on top of it Monday morning, I am looking elsewhere.

This may be an inconsequential job, but I have a much bigger one coming down line, which he missed out on. I will not consider him a candidate for any level job, little or big. I do not want to hear from him no-how, no-way. This company left a bad taste in my mouth.

I called Guadalupe Gonzales on a Monday for some serious yard cleanup that needed to be done, he arranged to meet with me the next day to take a look and give me a bid, I was impressed with his attention to detail and his commitment to please. It just so happened that someone had just cancelled for the following day and he was able to get the job done on Wednesday. I was very pleased with him and his crew and their commitment to their work, he even did more than I had asked for. I'll be calling him again for my other property for sure.

I called Guadalupe at short notice, and he brought a team of guys in and did a great job in everything he & they touched. Wish I had the money to get him in regularly! But will be using these guys on our property for future handyman/gardening needs.
