We recently switched pest control companies due to our old company not doing a very good job. We had Stephen come out from Good Earth Pest Control and he did such a FANTASTIC job. He cleaned up the eaves very well and sprayed thoroughly. He also was extremely kind and professional. Couldn't be happier with our new pest control provider

Their product is pet friendly & my chihuahuas never had any issues with the product they use! This is a HUGE plus if you own animals! Communication is always great. They always send me a text a few days before coming out and are always on time. Any other questions/concerns I have, they always answer the phone and get back to me right away. 10/10, highly recommend!

First... CUSTOMER SERVICE , from start to end everyone was super professional and nice! From talking to Kevin on the phone to deciding which service I should get for my pest problem... Kevin was very sweet and patient with explaining everything to me (even when I called him during off business hours). A huge concern of mine was if they're product was pet friendly (I have a small chihuahua who loves to eat everything) and it's PET FRIENDLY! Also, this place is very HONEST and does not try to rip you off. I've called many places, explained to them my pest problem (the wasp created a nest on a parked car on the drive way). Every place quoted me $150 just to spray the car. When I called Kevin he said "I don't feel right charging you that much just to spray a parked car" and quoted me a VERY reasonable price.
Second, on the day Lee (technician guy) came out, he was on time, super nice and professional. He took the time to explain what he was going to do, gave me a little bit of a background about these damn wasp, and played with my dog for a bit. I'm glad Lee took the extra time to explain everything to me without having to ask. Also, after spraying the wasp nest down he was awesome enough to show me the nest... sometimes you want to see what you're paying for, and boyyyyyy was I glad I called!
Overall, from start to finish the entire customer experience was an amazing one. I'm SOOO happy it wasn't one of those "hi, sign here on the dotted line" experience/transaction. GREAT business. GREAT people. A very happy satisfied customer.

I was truly happy with my service from this company, but the last month, they completely forgot about my appointment for several weeks, and then when they finally rescheduled it, the technician did not show up in the window they said. I finally texted them and got a call, but my normal technician was Caprice, and she was fantastic. Seems like something has happened that has dramatically affected their service? I'm not sure .. guess I have to look for a new pest control company :(

Good morning, Debra... this is Kevin. I saw your review on Yelp, and it was heartbreaking to me. The success of our business depends on the new business we receive from good folks, like yourself, on Yelp. This is our only marketing tool.
In the 14 years we have been in business, we have received nothing but 5-Star reviews (all unsolicited). We're proud of that record.
What confuses me is that in the first sentence of your review you said, "Something has changed" which, to me, implies we have been doing business for a very long time, and somehow over that long period of time something changed. But we have only treated your home twice, and you've only been with us for 4 months.
Your initial service was completed on 03/26/24; your second service was completed on 05/06/24.
I agree with you, and we take full responsibility for the delay in our attempt to complete your third service. We were late in scheduling that service, but if you recall I sent you the following text:
"We apologize for the slight delay. As you know, this month has been excessively hot and this has impacted our scheduling. We will send you another text a little bit later today to confirm your appointment. Thanks for your understanding."
As you know, during the past two months we have been experiencing extreme heat and, for the safety of our technicians, we have put them on a reduced schedule which has impacted some of our customers, including yourself, and we have been asking for your understanding.
After some negotiation, we agreed to treat your home for the third time on Sat., 07/27/24, and that we would come by between 8 & 9 am.
In this instance, a mistake was made. The technician assigned to treat your home simply failed to go to work. In addition, he failed to communicate with us so we could make other arrangements. This was an irresponsible act and this technician was disciplined. He no longer works for the company.
Also, our office is not open on Saturday but, to his credit, our office manager, Bryce, did a quick check on things and became aware of our technician's absence. Once we were finally able to contact our technician, he committed to complete his daily appointments and make a call to you to update his arrival time. He indicated that when he spoke with you, you asked him to reschedule.
We do apologize for the delay in arrival time. As hard as we try to hire good, dependable, employees we are sometimes surprised. The best we can do is correct the error and try to make it right with our customers.
You said you might be looking for another pest control company. As much as we would hate to lose you as a customer, we understand. But, please, do not think for a moment that we have somehow "changed". We are the same company today that we were 14 years ago, doing the very best we can, and reacting to events that are either in, or sometimes out, of our control.

1179288Jan 7, 2024So far so good. Started quarterly service on our home in Sacramento. Few ants that most likely were a result of turning up the area around the house landscaping. Two days post treatment 1 and they are substantially dwindling in numbers. The associate who treated our home was super friendly. Explained thoroughly what he was doing and made us feel good having both the exterior and interior treated. Highly recommend based on our experiences so far.

We needed some plumbing done and plumbers found brown recluse spiders under the house and refused to work until we had it sprayed. Good Earth came out quickly, used spray that was safe for my dogs & it was successful.

Good Earth is very reliable, professional, and friendly, but more importantly they take incredible pride in their work. We've been happy customers for years, and the only time anything got missed during a visit, the owner responded personally in the best customer service demonstration I've ever seen, and they immediately rescheduled another visit. Just a fantastic company!!

Never knew looking for pest control would take me to yelp but this is a great way to research what company meet your needs and also is the most affordable during these tough times.
The crew at Good Earth really live up to the customer service part of pest control. They have great plans to fit your needs and have knowledgeable technicians that can address any concerns. So when I saw a HUGE beast in my backyard in my dogs water bowl...and then ANOTHER ONE that came up my bathtub drain, I FREAKED THE F OUT!! I pulled up Yelp, found these guys and contacted them POST HASTE!
I originally had to leave a message but Kevin got back to me quickly. I told him of my cucaracha woes and he took the time to explain what I was seeing and why. He calmed my nerves and assured me they could handle my problem. He also explained the options I had for a one time spraying or a regular schedule.
I've been using them for about a year now and they have always been super professional, reliable and communicative. They give me a text reminder they day before they come (just as a courtesy, I don't have to be home)...and they let me know when I have been billed for services. The guy who comes out also gets down any spider/cob webs on the exterior of my house. He's also very friendly and knowledgeable as well.
