Great courage customer service by David, no surprises, courtesy car to use while my jeep was serviced. No hidden surprises, very efficient. Great location on Craigflower off of Tillicum behind Petrocan station. I'd highly recommend this family licensed auto mechanics. Found them by accident will go back. Had an oil change with 60 point inspection, great job on the vacuum and wash all for $50

I have just had another awesome experience with this company! I cannot say enough good things about David and his team, Nigel specifically. They truly do seem to care about the relationships with their clients rather than the "whats in it for me today'" attitude experienced at other mechanics.

My Mum relied on Gorge Vale Automotive for services and repairs for over 20 years before her death in 2015. I have been taking our car there ever since. In the past few months, our car has been showing its age. Dave advised me that it was time to get a different car. While I waited for the new car, Dave loaned me the PT Cruiser. I do so appreciate that I have someone I trust to talk to about car issues. Nigel is always so friendly and welcoming too. Their pricing is fair and I appreciate the wash and vacuum too. Now, I have a new car, I will be taking it to Gorge Vale for oil changes and servicing. Gorge Vale Automotive is piece of mind and customer care.

Absolutely the worst auto repair shop ! If I could give less than 1 star I would.
I purchased a car from a gentleman's estate that had passed away and he had his almost new winter tires stored here because Gorge Vale did the yearly tire exchange for him and ALL the work on his car. They attempted to tell me the executor took the tires when she had the summers put on. I got the executor on speaker phone while standing in the shop and she confirmed she did not take the tires and had informed them I would be in at a later time to get the tires. After me firmly saying they will have a big problem if they do not find the tires, I received a call 10 minutes after I left their shop stating they found the tires under a tarp at the back of their shop. I was then told on 2 occasions I could get copies of the repairs that had been done on the car previously, even told to come back the next day and they would have them ready. When I went back the next day they not only did not have them ready ,they told me what was done previously was irrelevant ! My belief is they realized it would be blatantly obvious they charged for things they did not do and took advantage of the elder that owned the car prior to me.

SCAM city! Never go for out province inspections! They failed my car 2017 and said it will never pass. Tiny bit of rust and had to explain concept of surface rust!!! Not an issue normally. TRUTH IS YOU ALWAYS GET A WEEK TO FIX EVERYTHING and return for last inspection. The owner lies. So went to different inspection place after work done and the reinspection was $10 and PASSED!

i had a great experience with these guys. They were able to look at my camper van which I thought was a broken alternator. Turns out it was the isolator. They quickly got it fixed at a good price. Happy to recommend to other people.

Have been going to Gorge Vale for several years. I believed I was getting good value. I started to question things such as having an oil leak. It was recommended to have the engine washed. We did so at a cost over 100. Came back I have a leak at the rear seal area. Had an oil change. Came back months later and had oil change and mentioned I would like to get the leak fixed. Told there was no leak. Recently went back for an oil change and asked to get the engine light checked. Was charged 195 to get the light checked. At the counter I was told that they had to drill down deeper to find there error. That would cost several hundred dollars. Also saw the work order and saw the error codes. Went up and looked up the codes. A week later went to Canadian Tire to purchase a battery . The clerk at the desk came back and mentioned they tested the Engine Light to see the issue and came back with codes and gave me a quote. If I would have stayed at the gorge Vale the cost would have been 600 plus. At C.T. 202.00

I feel this place abused my trust.

Professional customer service and quick repair, but consistently misdiagnosed simple problem, wasting over $800 on uneccesary repairs and tests. Will not be returning.
