Permanently closed. Was my favorite theater.
Popcorn and movies were reasonably priced.

This movie theater is such a disappointment. It needs to be renovated or it will go under. The staff was decent but unprofessional texting and blasting hip hop. The prices were good which is the only positive thing. Also they kept opening the door to our theater which was annoying considering i was sitting in the back row. I don't recommend this theater. Roosevelt field is much better!!!!!!

This place should be dismantled. It's terribly outdated, old and dank. The seat are disgusting. The candy is old. The theater smells like an old man's diaper

I was raised in this area and to be positive I give this place a star because it was a staple for us "kids" growing up. A place that we could go locally and stay out of trouble.

      BUT.MY.GOD.

Do ppl. even work here? I came here because I was alone and it was a last minute decision. I get inside and I think there was security by the door, a guy behind the counter that asked "what you trynna see?", and some other dude chilling by the restrooms. I don't even think the popcorn was popping. Movie theatre turned into your local corner store it seems. This place needs MAJORRRRRR renovations. Save the movie theatre! The picture felt like I was watching the big screens with the big back. I need some clarity, HD, something!

Outside of the obvious mess of this theatre. I saw what I needed to see. Come here if you just want to see a movie and that's ALL!

Haven't been here in a long time but I couldn't wait to see "wonder" and I didn't feel like driving far on this cold November night so baldwin cinema it was. It was pretty full in the theater we were in. Only front row empty. The ticket line went fast. Nice to see it was a family feel. The price is great, $8 pp and popcorn much cheaper than any other movie theater. I will be coming back. We have to support local businesses.

Went to see Frozen 2 today. We were the only ones in that movie and all the other local theatre were sold out for that time slot. I'm concerned now after reading the bed bug comments here on yelp. It was so cold in the movie I could not enjoy the movie, I was Frozen 2! I told the manager but he said it's because of the exit doors in that theatre 3. It was around $20 for two tickets.

Really small, but great to watch a scary movie in. I've heard complaints about this tj heater being dirts, but I didn't notice anything major

Terribal service first of all. When we walked in and ordered our concessions, they left the food behind the counter and went to help other customers. I guess they forgot they were helping us or something.
The actual theater was horrific. The seats were uncomfortable, the speakers kept blowing out. They actually had to come fix the overheated speakers. After the two minute delay, every time the music in the movie got even a bit loud, the speakers got extremely static and burned your ears.
Overall I do not recommend going to this theater at all. Terrible service, uncomfortable seats, bad speakers, and the graphics were even worse. If you care anything about quality and class do not go to this theater.

Probably the worst movie theater in Nassau county. The only saving grace is the fact that the movies are cheap and that the movies are actually new. Place is old and dirty. I would never go back.

      Updated review

This is most likely one of the mangiest, disgusting movie theaters on Long Island. I came here with my girl friends to see "50 Shades of Grey." (Chicks are so cliché aren't we?) Our regular theater was out of commission so we kinda had no local choice.

Arriving, parking was awful because of the cramped lot and mounds of snow. Although the admission was only $8.00, it wasn't worth it. Walking into the entrance area, I was hit with the stench of sweat, and burned popcorn. Yum.

The actual theatre is no better. It was claustrophobic, overly warm, even more smelly than the lobby area...(picture a cats litter box.)

The worst part was by far the restroom. The ceiling tiles were crumbling from above, the toilet water was rusted, the floors were unspeakably dirty. The smell....vomit worthy.

Besides the movie being horrendous, this theatre is an embarrassment. Let's just say I will not be venturing to this theater for the second installment of 50 shades...yes this theater is 50 shades of awful!
