Green Flash Pest & Termite Control

I contacted Green Flash Pest Control yesterday and requested a quote. They responded quickly and came out the next day! Eric was friendly and professional. He sprayed all areas of concern and set my mind at ease after dealing with ants for months. I am so grateful to do business with Green Flash Pest Control. I definitely recommend their service!

UPDATE: I received a call from the company shortly after I posted original review, only to tell me that a cancellation request was not in the system.

So basically the original woman I spoke to completely disregarded my request.

If I hadn't posted the review and gotten a call back, I probably would have gotten charged again. So disappointing.

Bad business. Lack of customer care. Don't waste your money. Hire someone else.

A couple of years ago we were recommended to Green Flash when we wanted a second opinion on advice to tent our home. Eddie was focused on proper inspection and provided great customer service. While there was some termite evidence, the proper treatment to care for the issue was localized. Repairs were reasonable in cost and handled the same day! It is rare to find a company that is honest and doesn't try to take advantage of the client.
Fast forward to today...Eddie arrived on time, remembered our home and conducted a thorough inspection, answering questions and educating me on the difference between cricket and termite pellets. (Who knew?!) Safe to say that we have found a partner to help care for our home and any pest control needs we have in the future. From booking, to confirming the appointment and the actual inspection, Green Flash is our choice!!

I requested Green Flash to come out to our home because of a rodent situation developing in our back yard. The technician that came to our home was Joseph who was very informative and exhibited a professional approach with no sales pressure. He explained what course of action he would take to help eliminate the rodents in a clear to the point way. The cost of the service was also clearly explained and that it could be cancelled at any time with no contract involved. We were left with a very positive feeling about using Green Flash's service if we decide it's needed to correct the situation.

Been using Green Flash for years.
They were really great. We have ants and spiders in our toddler and infant rooms and their bathroom. I called to get a respray and indoor spray. Indoor spray you have to leave the house with little ones for four hours. I called told them I have an infant and toddler and need indoor spray for ants and spiders in their rooms. They scheduled us two weeks out!!! Then give us a window from 3-5 the day before. The last window. I can't leave the house for four hours with an infant and toddler and gone until 9pm!! I called and the lady was no help. She said she would "make a note". Didn't offer to reschedule for a morning time another day, nothing! So they don't show up! The tech calls me at 6pm to say basically "you still want me to come". No apology, no notice he was going to be late. Nothing. I'll definitely be canceling and take my service somewhere else. It's one thing to run a business and have policy in place. It's another all together to just flat out not care at all about your customers. Would not spend my money here. If your that busy, hire a summer time tech and treat your customers right. Don't make them wait two weeks with spiders and ants in their baby and toddlers rooms. Poor business poor attitude. Literally did not care. I'll be shopping around today for another pest control.

John Tanner came out to our house for a termite inspection. After spending some time inspecting our house, he determined we didn't need anything done. Five-stars for not trying to sell us a service that we don't need. Would definitely recommend Green Flash and John Tanner for his professionalism and honesty.

Eddie provided our home termite inspection in July 2023. He came promptly. He spent about 2 hours going through entire house. We had an old treated termite issue and dry-rot that we wanted to be sure that are identified and eliminated before we reframe the large section of the interior studs framing and exterior stucco. He pointed out all the bad wood sections that needs to be removed and replaced. He gave us pointer of where to buy 1 gallon of pre-treatment for the new wood to be use in the framing. We bought it independently from amazon and used it.
We had planned to tent and fumigate the whole house but his advice was the house didn't needed it.
It made sense that Greenflash Pest & Termite have been in business a long time and wanted to stay in business the next few decades. I appreciated the objective opinion at the cost of near term business. We hope to never ever have to do termite remediation in the future but at least, we know where to go if we have any pests issues.

Mike is the absolute best! He is patient, kind, and does a stellar job keeping the ants and spiders out of our home. He is an amazing communicator and his service is top notch. Thanks Mike!

Great service! I've been dealing with a rodent issue. Cameron was able to confirm the entry point of the rodent and thoroughly explained how to prevent them from entering. Once the corrections were made, the technician set the traps. I am relieved to hear after the first follow-up, there is no trace of the rodent. I appreciate the time Cameron takes to explain this entire process.

I'm updating my original review based on a number of factors. First and foremost, we have been using them for almost a year now. In all fairness, the ant problem inside our home is definitely resolved. Unfortunately, there are a number of other pests I've found inside the home that are NOT OK for the price we are paying for their service. We complained about this and they came and sprayed inside our home. When they came to spray people and dogs were present and I felt like that was a bit odd, but the "technician" explained to me that as long as the spray had time to dry it would be safe for the dogs. After spraying inside the home, we still found a large number or spider webs and baby spiders in various areas of the house as well as a few roaches. When they come to your house to spray, they are there for a maximum of 10 minutes, sometimes less, and they charge you $120 for 10 minutes worth of work, which just seems excessive to me. They also knock down spider webs, but most of the time they miss quite a few of them.

Lastly, when we first signed up, we had gophers in our front yard. They offered to give us a complimentary treatment. It worked for a few weeks, but then the pesky rascals came back and invaded our entire front and back yard. The technicians at Green Flash never asked us if we wanted additional gopher treatments or offered to help us with the situation. They should pay more attention to the conditions at the properties they are treating and offer solutions to blatantly obvious invasions.

I decided to cancel their service, and this is the response I received:
"Good morning. Your account has been closed. You do owe $110 for the service on August 29th."

Enough said.

It was a pleasure having John Tanner do my termite inspection. He is an example of great customer service. He was prompt and respectful of my property. He explained his findings and gave me options and information so I can make a decision on what to do. I look forward to working with John again in the future. Thank you.
