Groome Transportation

We chose Groome because of their service to the San Francisco pier for a Carnival cruise to Alaska. It could not have gone smoother. They picked us up timely at the Santa Rosa airport and had us to the SF pier earlier than expected. When we drove up to the pier we saw a mile long line of people with their luggage waiting to get on the ship. When you travel on Groome, you bypass the line and the porters take your luggage from the bus to security for you. They had us go straight in the terminal bypassing all those people in line, Yay!!! When we disembarked after the cruise, the bus was just pulling up so we did not have to wait, we were able to leave 45 minutes ahead of schedule getting us home earlier. It was so easy and painless. I would highly recommend to anyone going on a cruise or to the Oakland or San Francisco airport. They are wonderful, the busses are new and have phone chargers in them for an added convenience.

These guys bought out Sonoma AirPort Express believing that they would raise prices and laugh all the way to the bank. $49 !!!!!!!! One way.
Instead, get a lift or drive to Marin and for $27 take Marin Airporter.

Groome came into town and bought out Airport Express. They jacked the prices up and the busses are bare bones, funky. At least Airport Express had super nice, cushy and comfortable busses.. My 3:30 am bus was freezing cold and it was a miserable ride to the airport. I'll never use them again. Instead I will drive to Marin and ride the Marin Airport from Novato.

@GROOME Transportation gets 10 stars! Seriously, after 20 years I return to find Airporter Express is now GROOME. At first I was concerned and I am here to tell you from the 1st communications with this kind gentleman, @Tony Geraldo I knew I was in good hands.

This is a very special team. I was running later than Tony recommended and starting to sweat & stress. I called & Ronnie immediately put me at ease with, "no worries you've got plenty of time," and added levity with her cheerful & refreshing light humor.

Once I got there I asked for Ronnie to thank her for reassuring me, which allowed me enjoy the rest of my drive there. She warmly welcomed me, very cool lady, offered coffee and on my way out said take some more kisses, (chocolate!)

Then I was fumbling with full hands and she took my bag and brought it to the bus. Who does this anymore? Not many and certainly not enough. Im OG and love good manners, consideration and that personal connection.

Then we meet Ms Rosemary and I asked her who is your boss and she told me it was Tony. He is "awesome sauce" steady eddy, aka best boss. When you work for someone like this you are spoiled.

I do not enjoy traveling 101 to either airport and Rosemary gave us a very smooth & enjoyable trip.

I love this company because of the people! Like Hertz motto "We care" well it is clear that so do they!

The parking is so easy, it's right there.

When you say your service starts early in the morning, show up. Having to drive to SFO when you are expecting to take the bus and you are a no show, this is unexceptable. AirPort Express never treated their customers like that. Disappointed for sure.

Great service. James was a great, safe driver. I reached the Petaluma fairgrounds 25 minutes ahead of schedule.

6:45AM Shuttle from Sonoma to Oakland on June 9th.
First off the shuttles are small vans with no wifi or bathrooms as advertised.

The worst part is my driver got out of the car to yell at someone parked in the red. Not sure if you should be driving a van of people when you clearly have road rage.

Our driver then continued to eat a banana and some other container of food while driving.

I couldn't believe my eyes when he pulled out a toothbrush and began brushing his teeth while we were on the freeway.

Purchased ticket for 11:30 am shuttle from Petaluma on 7/20/24. I arrived at 11:20 and shuttle arrived at 11:47, then collected fares and didn't depart till noon. We were told to wait in an area with bright sun and no shade in 85 degree heat. One expects the shuttle to arrive at SFO earlier to leave enough time for all the terminal stops- but this was not the case. Then on the bus the AC was on, but the sunroof open - could have done without all the wind noise. Already running late, the driver took the wrong exit off 280 on approach to SFO and then had to get back on the highway. Finally at 1:32om at my terminal 3 drop-off, she opened the baggage compartment and couldn't locate my bag. Moved every bag out, then she realized she put it in the domestic United compartment- just where the bus was standing and where I was being dropped off. Wow. $51 for transport- better off taking an uber if you have 2 or more persons. On top of it all - there is NO wifi. Apparently they haven't had it since the pandemic. So increased charges with this new company for much worse service with incompetent drivers.

This giant groome transportation bus cut off our car as it changed lanes in the middle of an intersection, almost hitting us, while driving in traffic on 19 in SF. There is no way to report driving quality for this transportation service which shows a lack of safety and checks and balances.

Bus late for 30 minutes. It's Scheduled at 9PM from Petaluma to SFO, the bus was late to arrive for about 15 minutes, total 4 passengers didn't take long to pay the tickets. We had to Waited for 10 more minutes for the driver to get ready. When the bus finally started to leave Petaluma, it's late for 30min.
