H & N Towing

Sent a bid for tow services to yelp, in the bid notes pick-up and drop-off locations. Straight forward sedan tow, car drivable, nothing special.

H&N was one of 3 services that for back to me, agreed to the price and was told they could be at the pickup spot in 30-45. Told them let's do it.

Then the guy calls me 10min later and tells me he under bid, and that the tow was going to be an additional $30. I'm irritated, but already working with this guy, and need my car towed, so I agree to the $30 price even though he admits it's his fault for under bidding.

30 minute go by, 45min go by, 60min go by, 75min go by, at about 28min past his latest estimated time of arrival, I messaged him through the app and told him to cancel the tow.

Zero communication letting me know he was running late, and that coupled with bait and switch price gouge, I was over it.

He then calls me and is yelling and cussing telling me they are on the way. Tried get a word in and explain to him that it wasn't just the price thing, that they were nearly 30min late and I had no indication when they were going to be there. He wasn't having it so I hung up on him.

He then tried to call me back, wasn't up for some more of him yelling so I didn't answer this time.

Messaged him again through Yelp, asking him to please stop calling me and that I didn't think he was running his business well.

Recently had to move my 1958 Chevy Apache.
And if I were to move it again, I will call H&N Towing !

This local team is affordable , efficient and very professional .

Uber was very communicative and understanding .

I don't really do reviews, but i would really recommend this towing service to anyone in the Sacramento Area. Not even joshing the prices and quality of business were phenomenal .

And i'm doing this so you don't waste your time with other businesses that try to overcharge you.

I was calling around other local towing businesses to see if anyone could do it 2-3 days in advance.

and Surrounding competitions wanted to overcharge me for a 20 mile ride.

Call Uber and he'll get it done for you

Very fast and efficient. They got to me within the hour and delivered to a very busy lot without much extra space. These guys are pros.

My wiring harness was chewed by rodent which caused my computer to die.. seen my car has electronic key, nothing works. Tires was locked. I called this towing company and ask how much for towing and how long it takes to get my car towed. My car needed to be tow to my house which 27 miles. I requested flat bed seen my car is all wheel drive and tires are locked. It cost my $250 and they did with in 1 hrs of me calling them. Drive was very friendly and took care of my car as if it was his own. It not easy task to load lock wheel SUV and unload. But he did great jobs and dispatcher was friendly and keep me update once my car was pick up and deliver, seen I was not at the location of pick up.
