I checked out this place because their website advertised it as Taiwanese shaved ice, but honestly, it has nothing to do with the real thing at all! I tried the passion fruit and matcha flavors.

Personally, I liked the passion fruit more--it was tangy and sweet, very refreshing! The matcha flavor had a bit of a grassy taste, but their mochi was really good!
Also, their shaved ice texture is super soft and not too creamy or heavy, which I really liked. Overall, I think the prices are pretty reasonable. I'll definitely be coming back again!

My go to dessert spot in the city!

Service is friendly and quick. There is not much space inside besides beside a place to order and wait but there is seating outside to enjoy your dessert.

Thai Tea & Passionfruit:
* Perfect shaved ice cream, not icy, very light and creamy texture
* Great Thai Tea flavor, not too milky
* Passionfruit is light and refreshing
* Definitely recommend adding toppings, can't go wrong with condensed milk!

Still as delicious as the last time I went. This time, I got the horchata flavor. I topped it with condensed milk and mochi. The flavor was nice and sweet, and the texture was still very creamy.

It took less than 5 minutes for me and my friends to get our orders. There is a bench inside that you can sit at, but that's the only seating they have as the store is very very small.

This is a great place to hit if you love bingsoo, but you only want a single portion. I've been twice, first time tried the mango then the earl grey.
The interior is only a counter and a window bench. There's a parklet, but it was really windy both times.

This will satisfy a shaved ice itch if you're craving it but was just alright. The shaved ice lacked flavor. The waffle bits were also not very crunchy. Mochi lack flavor as well. Also not a ton of seating inside. There's seating outside but on a windy day, would not recommend.

Great little spot that satisfied our sweet cravings after spending a whole day hiking out in Mt.Tam. Even though it was cold out, we decided to grab some snow ice because this stuff always hits. We weren't the only one thinking the same because after we ordered, there was a line out the door...

They had a variety of flavors and toppings to choose from. I got the horchata with some mochi and azuki beans on top. It wasn't too sweet, which was great - only wished for the fresh mochi balls.

They have outdoor seating, not much room inside. Would definitely recommend this spot.

Walked over after getting dinner at around 7:30 pm on Saturday and their menu was on the wall with some set options and how to build your own snow. I liked how their sizing is a single serving size so we could try other flavors if we wanted to or just get a small sweet treat.

Regular Size Mango Snow with Sweet Milk Glaze, Organic Strawberries and Mochi - The snow was creamy, light mango flavor and had a nice bite to it. The toppings added some different textures to the smooth snow but the strawberries tasted frozen.

What impressed me was how fast the service was, the snow was ready maybe two minutes after ordering. A great place if you're looking for a light dessert after a meal.

The combination of ice cream and shaved ice offers a delightful treat with a wide variety of flavors and combinations to create your perfect dessert.

Service was efficient, and the cashier provided helpful recommendations, which was appreciated since I was unsure of what to order. My order was ready within eight minutes.

I opted for the Vietnamese Iced Coffee with Sweet Milk Glaze topping to balance the coffee's bitterness with a touch of sweetness. I prefer minimal toppings, so I kept it simple. The result was excellent--light, fluffy, and it melted quickly in my mouth. The sweetness was just right, and I was very satisfied with my choice.

Seating is somewhat limited, with a bench inside and a few tables and chairs outside. For larger groups, I recommend ordering to go.

Parking can be challenging as it is located on a busy street with metered spots that are often occupied. Finding parking may require some patience.

Overall, a great dessert option!

I've been wanting to check out Powder for a while and everytime I drive by, I can never find parking. My other half took me here this past weekend and it was all that I thought it would be.
I got a kids size sesame shave ice with adzuki bean topping. The ice was creamy and not too sweet with a ton of black sesame flavor. The adzuki bean topping was thick and paired well with the nuttiness of the black sesame.
The service was quick and the smell of the croffles almost made me order one! But I'll try that next time I return.

Now that Bingsu has gotten popular, I'm glad there's a place like Powder around. You don't have to spend over $20 for an order that requires 3 people to eat before it melts.

I love this dessert! Freshly shaved, flavored "snow" topped with your choice of various toppings. I recommend the sweet milk glaze, mochi and strawberries. So good. So fresh.
