The time I didn't regret a last minute booking.

Booked Gorgean Wu the night before cause my hair needed some really good shampooing since I just took out my braids and the gel that my braider used was turning white and flaky.

Gorgean went to town with my hair in a good way. When he shampooed my hair he did an amazing job and making sure my scalp is clean with all that gel crap I had on.

Shampoo was an A+++++++

Haircut: he chopped off my split ends which I badly needed and gave me some amazing layers.

After everything was said and done, he made my hair looked voluminous and he literally only used a brush and a dyson hair dryer.

Gorgean has a lot of experience. When you used minimal tools but still get amazing results you're a talented person and know what you're doing.

Thank you Gorgean for doing my hair to my liking. I haven't even washed my hair since I visited the salon.

Janet is an incredible stylist who has truly gone above and beyond to take care of me and my hair needs. When I first started coming to her, my hair was in a terrible state, but Janet worked her magic and transformed it into something I couldn't have imagined. She called me in for consultation and gave me an appointment to come back for my hair transformation. We spent 7 hours on my first trip to the salon however it was all worth it. From that moment on, I knew I could trust no one but her with my hair.

Janet has an exceptional talent for understanding her clients' needs and exceeding expectations. She takes the time to listen to my hair concerns and provides expert advice and solutions. Her attention to detail and precision are unmatched, ensuring that every cut, color, and style is executed to perfection. Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she also creates a comfortable and welcoming environment in the salon.

I absolutely love this place! I have been coming for 3 years now and the stylists here are deeply committed and knowledge about hair. I have long hair and lots of grays growing all the time. I go religiously every 4 to 5 weeks and feel like a million bucks everytime. The team, Janet ,Denise , Gorgon, and Deborah always treat me wonderfully and the salon is clean . Gee is awesome! I needed a blowout for a party and was able to book a Saturday morning appointment for today! She was prompt, friendly and most importantly, my blowout is amazing! She took away a huge stressor in my day and I look great.

The salon is also really nice. Everyone was friendly and the products are high quality. I can't wait to have another excuse for a blowout soon. Thanks Gee for getting me party ready!

10/10 experience, I'm typically meh about my hair but I fell in love with my hair after Denise finished cutting and drying it. Highly recommend coming here

Possibly the worst hair experience I've ever had. Denise took way too much off of the length, it kept tangling all the way through the cut, then she immediately became defensive saying, "You said it was ok." "Look at the floor," and, "we have cameras." From the lack of technique to horrible customer service during my haircut, I refused to let her do any color treatments and she way overcharged me in the end. Now my beautiful long hair is ruined and coming up with another $125 for a haircut is not easy these days.
Do not make the same mistake I did. Go anywhere else!

I had my haircut done today by Debra and she's amazing! I'm impressed by her service and expertise. I never had anyone suggest and explain how layers work on a straight hair like mine. Not the usual layers that most hair stylists do, working only on the front. She was able to add volume, working on layers from the inside out, and keeping my long length. I mean, I don't think I ever had someone really listen to what I want, deliver and also enhance on that concept. What an amazing experience I had! I highly recommend her and I think I finally can say that I found my hair stylist close to home. It was a long search and so glad I found her! Their online appointment system is also very convenient to select the available dates, time, service type, and hair stylist. She was very upfront with the cost before, so there are no surprises. And lastly, I truly appreciate a salon that offers a full service of shampoo and blow dry without any additional charges. Wow! I'm so thankful. Thank you, Debra!! I'll continue to come back to see you for services and maybe for hair color soon.

Finding a salon is a challenge. You want to be able to go to someone you trust & where you can leave not only feeling your best, but also looking your best and based on my experiences that's what you'll find from Janet and her team at Hairology! I stumbled upon this salon via Yelp after my previous hairstylist moved away from the area and I wanted to stay more local for beauty treatments.

So let's get down to the nitty gritty, shall we? Da deets.

AMBIANCE: The salon is super modern, sleek, and clean! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the interior of the space is well-done and even their bathroom is super cute. They also take their time to make sure that the space is always clean, neat, and tidy. During each visit I do notice how attentive the stylists are to their stations (they sweep up promptly, move any tools that need to be cleaned to the proper stations, make sure it all gets properly disinfected, etc.). They also have little hooks where you can hang your bags and jackets (especially useful with all this rain we've been having).

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS: I've never had a problem booking an appointment. I do this all online or via the app that their website directs you to. They do get booked up pretty fast, but cancellations do happen and Janet always lets me know that I can call or text her to see what's available and if it's even possible for me to get in.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: My interaction with staff is usually limited to interacting with Janet, but I have to say that they've all been really kind & when you sit there for hours processing (I get my hair colored here) you do notice the high level of camaraderie they have with each other, how kind they are, and also how attentive they are to their client's needs.

MY EXPERIENCE/EXTRA THOUGHTS: I've visited this salon to get my haircut, colored, and toned and every time I leave I feel like a brand new person with my hair fresh and my energy feeling super cute thanks to all the work Janet puts in to my hairdo!

When I first started coming to Janet at Hairology over a year ago, I was really nervous about getting my balayage done because I was concerned about maintenance and choosing the right color for my skin-tone and my needs (aka I wanted to be low maintenance AF). She helped me choose the best color for me and I've been getting this color ever since.

When choosing a hair color, they provide this giant book of different colors (Idk what this actually is called, but I'm sure if you got your hair done before you know what I'm talking about lol) and I was able to sift through that and see what works best for me. I also was able to ask any questions without the risk of feeling silly. I always felt heard and appreciated the honesty they provided for me so I could make the best decision for myself.

During my balayage appointments, I'm also able to connect to their wifi so I can check on work emails or do some assignments - which is super convenient because processing can take time! So why not use it in your favor. Janet always made sure I wasn't thirsty or starving during this whole process and I will admit I've accepted the offer for some noodles and water & I'm always so grateful. I've had my hair done at other places before and I've never been offered noodles there, I usually used to sit there and stay hungry lol.

I also really like the products that they use here. They always smell really nice - especially the shampoo and conditioner. It's eucalyptus and mint and honestly you can feel the tingle - it feels and smells fresh!

Lastly, when I had a lot of breakage and damage in my hair Janet was able to recommend a product that she uses herself. You can choose to buy stuff from them, but I've never once felt forced to, which is always nice because sometimes you just don't have it in your budget but the free knowledge is A1. She also educated me on methods that might help my hair maintain a curl and so much more.

PARKING: I've never had a problem finding parking when visiting Hairology. They have a parking lot where you can park your car.

TLDR; Hairology has become my go-to salon for over a year now. It's super easy to make an appointment and super easy to find parking. The staff is really friendly and I've always left feeling beautiful. :)
