On my first day off in months, I was sleeping in. My 82 year old mother called me and of course I had my phone on silent. So, she called my husband to wake me up. She locked herself out of her house which is 20 minutes away from me, and I was exhausted. I had nothing left, my plan was to stay in bed and sleep all day. So, I farted my phone and I look for locksmith. The first two I spoke with seemed shady. They had a receptionist answer who couldn't tell me who was going to be sent out, and they would not tell me a price over the phone either for a lockout service. As a realtor, this rang alarm bells but I was desperate to get help for my mom so I booked them. Each said they were about an hour out so I kept calling around hoping someone could help her sooner.

Next, I found Handy Andy's review. Instantly, he picked up the phone. He was immediately sympathetic. I could tell that his concern for my mom was genuine. He's a good human. He said that he and Michelle would be heading out to my mom's house within minutes!!

Sweet. I called back the shady locksmith mystery companies and canceled with them.

Andy and Michele got to my mom within 20 minutes!!! He got my mom in the house asap. She turned on her coffee maker and suddenly all was well in her world. And finally, I got to go back to sleep.

Andy is awesome. He is so awesome that my mom called him back the next day to have several copies of her keys made. LOL so thank you very much, Andy! My mom and my sleep cycle are grateful to you.

My keypad lock conveniently had enough battery to automatically lock itself but not enough to turn on the keypad. It took Andy and Michelle a grand total of about 15 minutes to respond, show up at my house at 7 AM, and resolve my issue without needing to drill through my door. And I even got a free key made for me as well. All for a very reasonable price.

10/10 Would absolutely accidentally lock myself outside of my house again.

Called them on a Saturday, came in the next day to rekey all our doors with 1 master key.

I am a completely satisfied customer! My need was urgent and my frustration was at a ten. Handy Andy was the second locksmith that I called and I'm extremely grateful that I did. From the initial consultation on the phone call to when he arrived at my doorstep, Andy was extremely courteous and professional. He and his wife Michelle (they're a team) dropped everything and came right away within 10 minutes of my call. What more can you ask for?! 5 stars for sure.

Andy and Michelle are a great team that really stepped up to the plate when I needed a bespoke solution for our 120+ year old front door lock. It wasn't latching or locking anymore and Andy was able to take it apart and lubricate it, and replace a missing fastener. The lock is now performing like it is brand new!

They were also able to repair our non latching/locking french doors which became victim to house settling. The door manufacturer had come out to repair them but they still never worked. Andy got them back into service with a unique solution that solved all our issues.

Everyone in my office was about to go out to lunch when the last person leaving couldn't get the door to lock. The lock just wouldn't engage, so we had to stick around. I sent out a job request and within two minutes, Handy Andy responded asking for photos and provided his phone number. I texted over a short video and a couple shots. He asked for the address and said he would be over in 15 minutes!

True to his word, Handy Andy and his partner Michelle showed up in a sporty blue car. He went to work right away, first trying to get the old lock working. After about 10 minutes, he pulled out the cylinder and said it was broken. Fortunately, he had a matching Arcadia cylinder to replace it. He also said he could match our existing keys to the new cylinder so we didn't have to our entire staff replace their keys.

His partner Michelle made an invoice and I sent the payment through Zelle. The price was not cheap but he came very quickly and got the job done in a flash. The new cylinder works better than the old one ever did. We locked the door and went straight to Ramen Nagi.

After struggling and trying to install a smart lock on my front door, I realized I needed expert help. I requested several quotes for advice, and Andy was the first to respond in a friendly and reasonable manner.

After a quick call, Andy was luckily available to drop by to help my situation within the hour! Andy was joined by his assistant, which I appreciated because drilling a door cleanly can be a 2 person job.

He quickly assessed the situation and figured out that the hole in the door was originally drilled incorrectly, which is why I could not install the lock myself and I had messed up the screws by cross threading them. Because of my inept and clumsy failed installation attempt, I dropped the smart lock on concrete and damaged the housing such that the buttons weren't functioning properly.

Andy did not hesitate to solve the problem - he took the lock apart completely to realign the keypad so the buttons would work! Shortly thereafter the lock was installed and it now functions perfectly and I am a very happy customer. Experience pays and it's worth paying for.

I had a really tricky Milgard V400 Tuscany swinging patio door set that I wanted to replace the handles on. The "certified" Milgard technician couldn't get the old handles off, just saying "something was jammed inside". Andy was available the morning after I called, diagnosed what the problem was, fixed the problem, removed the old handles, installed the new ones, and ensured the crazy multi-point locking system was functioning correctly after putting it together from the mess that the technician left. It was a tough challenge and he did an excellent job!

I think our initial phone conversation was longer than the time it took Michelle and Andy to arrive at my location and unlock my apartment door. Great service!! Exceptionally quick response and just super good at what they do! I didn't even have time to feel stressed out about being locked out, before I knew it I was inside my home shaking my head at myself when I saw my key sitting on the kitchen countertop.
