It was my first time coming here. My brother recommended this place for fresh oysters. They have a fantastic happy hour, with oysters or about $2 a pop. My brother and I each ordered a dozen, and chowed down. We also ordered some white wine and garlic white wine clams. The wine was good and the clams were very tasty. He came with a piece of toasted bread, which we took to dunk in the broth. Yum!
The next time I'm back in town, I will definitely be heading here for another dozen of fresh oysters. There are two really cool, young guys who run the joint. They are also servers, which is very impressive because this place can get pretty busy and quickly. Overall, I'm impressed with the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I want to come back to try some other items on the menu.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 6, 2024
When you are in Vancouver you must eat oysters and we found this hidden gem that offered Happy Hour from 11am - 5pm. We are still thinking about the oysters and wish we had another dozen. Service was so nice and quick even when the place got a little busy after we arrived. Everything tasted fresh and yummy! Would come back again the next time we are back in BC.

Amazing place on the drive!!!
They have multiple seafood choices to choose from,
Even mussels, crab, or lobster boil for 2-4 people.
We tried the lobster linguini and the blackened fish tacos and half doz oysters.
Lobster pasta was a hit.
Pasta was fresh and had a hint of lobster oil. Although i wish they put more lobster chunks. But the cream
Lobster sauce was so good. It can easily rival a fine dining restaurant. The fish tacos were awesome as well. Made and tasted fresh. Good size fish portions and the salsa mix was perfect. Too bad it didnt come
With fries, so i ordered a half order of the fresh garlic fries. So yummy and crunchy. Twice fried and so good.
The oysters were amazing as well. They do have limited options,Depending on whats available. Usually 2-3
Varieties only.
Beer is cold but mojito was a bit weak and watery and had too much ice.
Prices too are a bit higher than most places. 2 people after happy hr can easily cost $100.
But service was outstanding. Servers always in a jolly mood ready to answer any questions and provide informative solutions on what to order.
Ambiance very lively and upbeat. Feels like you are eating in a fishing village.
I would repeat for sure.
Cheers! Happy eating!Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 12, 2023
Loved this place. Just found it while scrolling yelp. The most important thing after the food, which I'll get to, was the staff. Our service was top notch, friendly and helpful. Loved it.
We had PEI oysters and west coast oysters to share. Both were delicious and distinctive. I had halibut and fries, and it was week bettered. The fish was flaky and was excellent.
The bar is a little snug but totally comfortable with nostalgic decor. I'd highly recommend.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 15, 2022
Finally made it out to Harbour Oyster + Bar for their $2.00 happy hour oysters. It's located between Marcello Ristorante & Pizzeria and Sake Maki.
We dropped in on an early Monday afternoon (around 3:30pm) and put our names down on the waitlist. Took about 15 minutes to get seated. Service is friendly and the waiters were all very chill. Overheard the main shucker saying he's been doing it for over 10 years.
There's a regular menu but our focus was mainly on the happy hour menu (11:00am to 5:00pm everyday).
- Lobster poutine ($19.00) - we asked for the poutine on the side, which kept the fries crisp. Interestingly, our waiter compared these to Costco fries. You get about three small chunks of lobster. The "poutine" was one of the better versions I've had in the city so far. Not too heavy and a couple chunks of cheese.
- Happy hour clams ($14.00) - opted for the red wine 'nduja. The clams came with one piece of buttered garlic toast. Standard fare.
- 12x Oysters ($1.50 each) - oysters of the day were Chef Creek. Slightly briny but overall mild in flavour.
Decent spot to grab happy hour oysters. 3.5 stars.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Tara C.Modesto, CA03194Jun 16, 2023
Cute little restaurant on busy Commercial drive. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Music played in the background, not too noisy when we were there. We ordered lobster poutine, which I thought had a generous amount of lobster on it, clam chowder, fish and chips, and the shrimp in garlic sauce. If you love garlic, definitely recommend it! We dipped the fish in the sauce and was great! The fish was nice and crispy. The fries were not plain fries, maybe lightly battered? I would have preferred plain fries but didn't know exactly what kind I was getting. Staff were friendly and freely gave suggestions when asked, which was much
appreciated! I would say most people come for the wide variety of raw oysters. They have a great selection! Metered parking on the street, be prepared to add coins.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mike Y.West End, Vancouver, Canada023Aug 9, 2023
A great place to go when in Vancouver for some of the freshest oysters I have ever had! The crew did amazing with our order and the service was the best. There is a secret menu (ask your server) and we chose the honey garlic fries.
If I lived closer I would be here more than they would want me there.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chantal L.Burnaby, CanadaJan 8, 2023
Legit place to hang out on Commercial for drinks and order shareable plates! Tapa style selection with the quality of west coast seafood.
We had a bit of everything but I want to comment on the freshness of the raw oysters - succulent! Seafood is just one of those things that has to be extremely fresh.
You could order 1 meal per person... but trust me one won't do, you will want to sample everything.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
