If you are a new customer do NOT come here. I took my car here for a NYS inspection and they were going to charge me $2700 dollars for new brakes, rotors, windshield wipers, etc. I decided to take it to a different mechanic a little farther away that I actually know and they say everything looks completely fine, got my inspection done for $60.

After much frustration looking for a trustworthy mechanic in Brooklyn, I am very happy to say the Harry's Auto Repair is exactly what I needed. Honest almost to a fault they have had every opportunity to fix or sell me something I thought was problematic only to find out that it wasn't , sometimes for nothing.

Moe is the best. Both he and Harry have taken care of my Ford van for years. These guys are the best Brooklyn has to offer. They always have my back. Trust them and give them your business.

These guys are 0 BS and do a great job.

I was trying to sell my car and came in for a detail. There was mud everywhere inside and out. The car came out looking like new.

They also fixed some dents and nicks, taking the liberty to fix some that I didn't even ask about.

Price was very reasonable. Definitely worth every penny.

RIP OFF. Do not take your car here. They charged me $1300 to replace a catalytic converter that had been stolen. The parts they used were cheap aftermarket stuff. My friend went to Flushing for the same issue and they charged her $400. Harry's does not provide an itemized receipt like honest mechanics do. They just throw a random number at you and can't justify why the costs add up to that number. This is the hallmark of shady mechanics. When I asked how much the parts costs and labor, they started scrawling prices down on a piece of paper that they just started making up. The numbers didn't add up, and they were flustered trying to come up with charges that equaled $1300. AVOID HARRY'S AT ALL COSTS.

Been going here for years they are amazing. Lovely, professional and great for women car owners as they insist on keeping and showing you the parts they took out and replaced. Old school professionals that take pride in their work. I 100% trust them which has been really hard to say with other mechanics I've had in the past.

Went for an inspection. Took no time at all and the staff was friendly and responsive. Couldn't recommend higher!

This place is fantastic! They do a great job and price everything well. Very good communication about what needs to be done and my options to fix the issue. I have brought my car here a few times and have always been extremely happy. I have also sent a few friends here as well and they all thanked me for recommending this place as they had a great experience as well!

Harry's is not only the best auto repair shop in Williamsburg, it's the best in all of Brooklyn! My car is running better than ever thanks to Harry and his excellent staff!

As far as dealing with mechanics go, Harry's is as good as it gets! The entire staff was knowledgable, attentive and straight forward. They figured out the root of my car's problem and fixed it right away with excellent pricing. I've had the misfortunate of going to a few different shops before discovering Harry's and I regret getting ripped off for shoddy work from slow and greedy mechanics. Do yourself a favor and bring your car into Harry's next time and see the results and savings for yourself!

Extremely professional and helpful, by far the best mechanic I've been to. I've been here twice now, both times Rick helped me. The service here is quick, well-priced, and they do fantastic work.
