Like someone else mentioned here in the reviews, I too was yelled at, pressured to have surgery that it was not necessary to have in the timeline I was told re. the insurance claim.
Somehow my settlement went from $20,000 to now $11,000+, for what?, submitting a few receipts? Mr. Ziff could have advised me that my car insurance only had a $20,000 limited coverage for getting hit as a pedestrian by an uninsured driver. In that case I would not have hired a lawyer that would take over 30%. Since then, Mr. Ziff knowing, as it has been explained to him, that I have lost thousands more than was allotted with the injury and the ultimately needless surgery I went through because of his "advice" and even still he felt justified taking so much, where is there any human compassion even?

Mr. Harvey Ziff yelled at me when I came to investigate insurance for my wife. It's not a fake review. Sorry, Mr. Ziff. Because of that, we never collected. No one warrants a yell by an attorney, and my voice is quiet. He never charged us a dime, but I didn't want belittling by him. I asked a question or two. It was not 2005, but 2018, at your Los Altos branch. Your manager needs to be more appropriate in her response. Shunting valid hurts is not adequate.

First I want to thanks Mr Harvey Zipp office. When I first call his office I know nothing about his company.
I found on Google search, his secretary or the person and answer the phone are so nice and helpful. She listen to me what I have to explain about my car accident on freeway. I only speak to her one time, so I don't know her name. After she hear what I have explained, first she asked me my phone number incase we get disconnected. Then she put me on hold and she have a lawyer talk to Mr right away. That's attorney Harvey Ziff. The secretary and Attorney Harvey Ziff know this is a serious accident. He wait no time to help me. I submitted a consult request form and received a callback within hours. Harvey also reached out to me via email to ensure I received his communication.

When I'd contacted him, I was in the finalization stages of my settlement negotiation and getting ready to sign a release of liability. I was surprised at being offered a settlement above treatment reimbursement and--realizing I was green--came to the conclusion that it would behoove me to seek outside advice.

Though this wasn't ultimately a case that required an attorney, Harvey still took the time to give me a free consultation, during which he addressed my concerns and answered my questions.
