This place is amazing! Ambiance and decor was luxurious. Staff were friendly and welcoming; they made sure we were taken care of. I Went in with A bunch of friends, got a table, a few bottles, and we had so much fun. The owner, Gabe, went above and beyond normal expectations in terms of hospitality. That is a guy who really knows how to take care of his guests. We'll be back and I recommend you give this gem of a club a visit too!

This place was pretty damn awesome. Found it on Yelp originally when looking for a spot to go after the growlers show at August Hall with my boo. There's 2 areas. One had dancing music close to new age hip hop (not old school) and the other room had house where we stayed most the time. They have coat check in at the front no charge. For a Saturday night it was not overly packed but that may been on account of the rain. You don't have to get overly dressed, lots of people in comfortable casual clothing and some were over the top extravagant so whatever makes you happy! Drinks are kinda pricey but it is a nice place! I danced the night away! I really enjoyed it!

The bartender GG was the best ever . So when in Hawthorne ask for Gigi ...... the best bartender in the building! The vibe is wonderful. I didn't get to order any food. But live the vibe.

I never knew this place existed but we came here to reserve a table to celebrate. The workers were very nice and checked up on us numerous times to see if we needed anything.

We enjoyed the hip hop/rap side but there was also a house music side near the ladies restroom. Water was easily accessible and was never empty which I very much appreciated.

The one thing was we may have reserved late and got the table that was near the bar and it was super packed. But we will know for next time to reserve a different section of the bar. Grab a table here next time you go clubbing!

The best lounge we've been to in SF. We rsvp and got in for free on a Saturday before 11. They have good drinks and play great music. They play mostly old school 2000s music as well as Latin and pop mixed in there. Been here 2x already and never disappointed both times. They even have smaller room with a smaller bar playing edm but my friends and I prefer the main room.

After going to Hawthotn 2-3 times recently.

I found myself thinking about it randomly some weekends.

It feels like a secret cave in an underground speakeasy one would stumple upon.

The main host on Friday/Saturday is warm welcoming, and friendly.

The lighting is dim, the accents are of vintage times, fine, classy, and sophisticated.

The sound system also matches the vintage vibe, along with the staff.

I haven't ordered bottle service here, but have had a cider, and beer for $10 each

They have a second dance floor DJ in the back with tons of seating.

Super comfortable, chill, and diverse demographic.

Guest Djs, and main dancefloor is a food size.

The business owner seems like he's conveniently stretching the truth far more than what happened for his benefit of course.

We absolutely did *not* pass the bottle around and take *any* sips from it.

We also did not put up a fight when confronted about it, a joke by the way that we admitted to wasn't a good one since most of my group were not sober.

We apologized immediately and said it wouldn't happen again and did not put up a fight at all against you guys. We didn't steal anything nor take that lightly.

I think it's completely unwarranted my entire group of POC friends getting kicked out and being treated extremely aggressively when we ourselves were not being aggressive towards anyone. On top of that, being berated to confess which friend did it when it doesn't even matter we already agreed to leave. If we were just escorted out and told they have to do this and we're respectful, I wouldn't even have thought to leave a bad review. It was their conduct surrounding the whole situation.

Don't pretend to make yourselves the good guys here but talking about a birthday sign that you say was arriving but I never received. In no way did we demand or expect one because I'm aware we didn't come with a bottle service reservation and I appreciate the fact that you guys said were going to do it anyways. But there's no reason to bring this up as how nice you guys were being when I can from first hand experience later tell you how rude you all were to us.

I'm pretty sure me and my people were underdressed but they were cool to us anyway. Had bottle service at a good price, they showed love and everything was smooth. It was a variety of music, mostly hip hop from the 2000's and on but everything being played wasn't necessarily super current. Went on a Friday and it wasn't super packed but this was also the day after thanksgiving so I appreciated the chill vibe. Visually the dancers were doing their thing.

Hawthorne Night Club was like entering another world. The sleek, sophisticated ambiance immediately set the tone for a night of fun and excitement. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed and taken care of.

The music selection was on point, catering to a variety of tastes and keeping the dance floor alive all night long. The DJ knew exactly how to read the crowd, seamlessly transitioning between genres and keeping the energy high.

Frequented a lot of clubs in the bay area during the past 4 years and oddly enough never been to Hawthorn. Got a table here for my girlfriend's birthday yesterday. Chadwick was super helpful in accommodating us and my girlfriend and making her feel special. I thought the prices for bottle service were reasonable and loved the group cocktails as well.

In addition to the traditional marquee happy birthday sign, Chadwick also provided additional treats like champagne, chocolates and cotton candy. Had our table in the Bonaparte room where they played good House music. Only bummer was the weather last night probably prevented a huge turnout, but what can you do?
