Hayes Auto repair rocks!! Brought my son's car in for some brake noise. David was very nice and had me leave the car for inspection. Joseph Ng the owner called to say the front end brakes needed to be replaced and an oil change as well. A few hours later Joe called back to say upon further inspection the rear end brakes were low but still had some wear left on them and could probably go for another 3000 miles before replacement was needed. There was no pressure to change them now but a heads up. I decided to change them now and Joe said no problem. Got the car back the same day. Joe showed me the old brakes and the wear on them. He was professional all the way answering all my questions and concerns. Hayes Auto Repair is definitely my new auto repair place of choice. Just love the wonderful, friendly and honest service they provide!! Thanks Joseph and crew!!!

great guys who really want you to have as good an experience as is possible after messing up your beloved chariot - they did a wonderful job on 2 scrapes so even without replacing a lot of panels, the car looks 99% new again - they definitely understand about living on a budget
and yes they do clean your car inside and out so it looks beautiful

I can't recommend Hayes Auto enough to anyone in the city in need of car services. Albert is so helpful, and does whatever he can within his bandwidth to take on a cars needs. He's been a lifesaver to me several times now when my car was in need of quick/unexpected service. One thing that I really appreciate about Hayes Auto Repair, is that if the request is not doable due to their availability, or it is not a service they provide, Albert will make a point to send me in the direction of someone he recommends that can help me with my exact request.

Take your car here. Albert is awesome. Very helpful, smart, and great to work with. He even had our car cleaned before we picked it up. 10/10 recommend!

Haye's auto repair went above and beyond to repair my car in a timely manner. Joseph is super responsive and will make sure you are satisfied with their service!

Every other auto body shop I contacted in SF at the time had a huge backlog and was not able to take my undrivable car in, but Joseph was able to squeeze me in almost immediately. He had the parts ordered early to ensure there were no delays (since a lot of parts were also backordered), and had my car done before other shops would even take a look at it. I was very impressed by the turnaround speed - and this was not an easy repair (door replacement with paint touch up on panels and trim replacement).

When the repair was done, everything looked good. They did a great job with paint matching (it's pretty much unnoticeable), and the car looks good as new. Joseph will make sure all the paperwork and back/forth with insurance is handled for you, and I also appreciated that he encourages his customers to text him with any questions / communication that's needed.

Overall, definitely 5/5 stars and I would come back if I ever need body repair work done again. Thank you Hayes Auto Repair!

This was my 2nd time using Hayes Auto Repair. A different car this time, on which I wanted the faded paint on the side roof panels of the convertible top fixed.
Result: Just wow!!!! Continues to Exceed Expectations!
Though the plan was to have the panels re-painted, the owner surprised me and ordered and installed NEW panels and didn't charge me anything extra. I knew they'd do a great job, but this was definitely above and beyond!

I had an excellent experience with Albert and the rest of the team down at Hayes Auto Repair. They have down significant work on my car in the past, but they also did a really great job on a small fender bender I had - great customer service in general.

WOW...is an understatement.

Finding a solid body shop is hard regardless of where you live, let alone in SF. Joe and his crew have an insane attention to detail and go above and beyond. I normally find myself combing through the final product and picking out multiple flaws/errors. Wasn't the case at Hayes. Couldn't find a flaw if I tried and that's a really good feeling!

I've tried for years to find a shop that I could trust and actually wanted to return to after the first job. Finally found it. Give Hayes Auto Repair a shot and you will be very glad you did!

2nd amazing experience at Hayes

We had previously had a fantastic experience with Joseph at Hayes so we came back to him recently when the hinge on the tailgate of our BMW broke. Not only did he and his team do a great job with the repairs, he also advised us on how to work with the insurance company to make sure the claim wouldn't impact our premium. On top of that, when we picked up the car he gave us a generous discount when he noticed we were expecting a baby. We hope we won't need much more auto body work, but if we do we will be coming back to Joseph at Hayes auto.

These guys are fabulous! Totally ethical, absolutely fair. They are great mechanics and do great body work.

I've been going to them for about 20 years, maybe more, and at this point I don't want anyone else to work on my car. I have recommended them to others who were very pleased with their work.

They have advised me to refrain from having work done because it wasn't really worth it (it was on an older car). And that's just one example. I can't recommend this shop highly enough.
