Heise's Plumbing

Once again Heise's has delivered. Staff is great, response is great. They showed up on time and completed the work as quoted. I will continue to call them first with any needs.

Jose and his co-worker installed my new Hansgrohe kitchen faucet today. I give them the highest recommendaton possible. They ran into a few unexpected problems that they worked through quickly with ease. Got my new faucet installed in record time, and also managed to get the water line connected to my new refrigerator on the same service call. I'mdefinitely going to be a repeat customer and recommend them to others.

I've used Heise's for several years. Their office person is lovely. Their communication is usually great. They've always done a good job and come on time, etc.
However, I am lowering their star rating (3 1/2) because of the following exception & because it still bothers me!
We had a very large, and very old drain pipe in our garage which needed to be replaced. Of course I called Heise's. I was quoted $1800 (wow!) because it would take "8 hours and take two men". I agreed.
On the day of the job, only one young man showed up. He did the job in 4 hours. When he finished, I called to check on the price I was told it would be for the same price they quoted me. Huh?! Also, it still leaked and they had to send out someone else to fix his work (again, just one person who took about a half hour.)
Their prices have continued to go up sometimes within the same year - (perhaps like everything else...?)
They do excellent work so I guess it's "you get what you pay for" ?
Next time, if I'm given a quote for a certain number of men and a certain number of hours then I expect to pay less if the plan changes considerably.

Called Cannon Appliance out of Redwood City to repair our clothes dryer which wasn't drying clothes completely. The wait time was a week but because of past experience I wasn't going to call any other company. They partnered with Heises Plumbing out of San Francisco and the service was as expected. They were on time, correctly diagnosed the problem and had the needed parts (2). 30 minutes later we were drying our clothes like before. Sometimes you just have to wait for good service. Thank you Cannon Appliance and Heises Plumbing!

Brandon and Joseuel came right on time and diagnosed the problem quickly - house trap stoppage. It was quick, easy and well priced.

My whole family had used their services for 20 years and they always deliver an excellent job with the end results. David Was the original owner now Mike is the present owner. Excited for him to take over, after speaking with him on the phone. He has displayed such Professionalism and Friendly Demeanor. I would very much Highly Recommend this place and their Professional Plumbers.

The cost to come to our house and do basically nothing was $225. I don't even remember the name of the guy, and I really don't want to remember. Nobody from this place is ever setting foot in my house again.

Our tenant downstairs said the shower was not working, so my husband called Heise's Plumbing. They sent someone out fast enough, which is why I was inclined to leave two stars. We also asked him to check a leaky faucet and he concluded that we needed to replace it. He happened to have a Grohe faucet that was nickel instead of the chrome we had, and added that if he had to come back he had to charge another $225. That's $450 on top of the cost of another $150+ faucet - we fixed the shower ourselves with a new hose. This left us in a dilemma: buy the faucet he had at the inflated price and install it now, or have him come back to install a faucet we really wanted for another $225. Things didn't sound right, so I said we'd buy the faucet and call if we needed to.

Today, I called Discount Plumbers at the suggestion of a neighbor across the street and they came out at a time specific and they were on time. Edgar looked at the sink, checked the faucet, and concluded it was the grout on the back of the wall. He splashed water on the grouted area, and sure enough the water started to drip down. All I have to do is grout the sink. He also came upstairs and tightened the loose faucet on our lavatory. The cost? No charge, he charged us nothing.

We really wanted to stay local, but this whole experience with Heise's was sketch as all fnck. It left us feeling thoroughly ripped off and I'm going to be pissed off about this for quite some time. Thankfully, we did not commit to these folks, and returned the replacement faucet and got our money back.

The plumber I usually use was jammed, suggested I call Heise as he said they are honest. He told me the job was easy, and they will knock it out in less than an hour. Two guys showed up but really struggled with the job. After two hours, they called their supervisor. The supervisor came out, said they didn't have the right tool, went back to the shop to get it, and returned in 20 minutes. The supervisor then knocked out the job in less than 30 minutes, explaining to his crew what they should have done. But by then the crew had been on site for three hours. I was worried about getting billed for three hours, but no...the bill was for one hour plus parts...an honest resolution! Will use these guys again.

Heise's came highly recommended by friends, and they delivered! Their team is professional, effective and courteous. They were able to quickly and effectively make a diagnosis of the issue, provide an estimate and resolve our issue. It was a pleasure working with them and we will be doing so again!

I'd triple the star rating if I could. Called Heise for a clogged shower drain that another company couldn't clear (& suggested a much more expensive and disruptive next step to clear it). Heise showed up within 24 hours, sent 3 experienced guys and had it fixed within an hour. All around high marks for responsiveness and quality of work.
