Hell's Kitchen, some may not know that it's also known as Clinton, is a neighborhood on the West Side of Manhattan in New York City, west of Midtown Manhattan. It is bordered by 34th Street to the south, 59th Street to the north, Eighth Avenue to the east, and the Hudson River to the west. I love spending the whole entire day in many areas of Hell's Kitchen. There's so much to do and see. It's popular with the tourists too. Streets can get congested and old sidewalks are narrow. There's historic places to visit and photograph. I love to people watch too!

It's a very popular neighborhood for enjoying food of all ethnicities. The place has a well advertised gay night life. There's lots of everything that's trending in NYC. Since the 1980's it's been gentrifying from its original working class Irish roots. I'm recommending you spend time here whether you are like me who is from out of town, you live nearby, or whether you are here on vacation.

Fun Fact: Pride Month traces its roots back to the 1969 Stonewall riots, which started on June 28, 1969, when members of the NYPD staged a raid at the Stonewall Inn, a mafia-run gay bar in Manhattan's Greenwich Village neighborhood. I've previously visited this historic site couple years ago. The first Pride marches started on June 28, 1970, to commemorate the multi-day riots, and these one-day celebrations eventually evolved into a full month of LGBTQ pride.

As we all continue to celebrate Pride, it is also a good time to reflect and support the LGBTQA+ which is to maintain and foster diversity and inclusion.

Happy Pride Month! Help celebrate with the rest of the country and the world for Pride in June!

Hell's Kitchen is an iconic neighborhood with plenty of legends and created and stories lived. While the neighborhood continues to evolve and change, in many ways, Hell's Kitchen will always be the same.

Definitely a must visit place in New York City.

Hells Kitchen Page was added by someone. I thought I already did a review of Hells Kitchen. I have days where I'm in the Hells Kitchen section of Manhattan. Truthfully I have a specific destination and go there then leave. The theft has gotten so bad that recently Rite Aid Closed a store because they couldn't keep merchandise on the shelves due to theft. It's a historic neighborhood in Manhattan. It is also historically known for the poverty and crime. For a while it improved then Covid came and things became unsettled again. There's lots of homeless hanging around outside of businesses. In 2021 there were no problems for me during my visits. When the weather is warmer I'm sure I'll be back! Angelina Bakery has a location in Hell's Kitchen. There's lots of bagel shops and coffee shops I enjoy too! It's definitely old school NYC.
