- painters were: Zohab (Z), Bunty, Gary, Harry, Joel, Mike, Vassily (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly)

- all members and especially the crew leader (Z) was proactive, attentive, and considerate to our needs

- always on (or slightly before) time for the 5-day project

- patiently answered my questions

- Elliot (owner) and Joel (quotation lead and also crew leader at the end) were responsive and attentive to our needs

- Z kept us orally informed about the project status, need for extra coats and associated hour. I prefer a written format for better clarity, which I shared with Elliot

- staff wore uniform, and looked sharp

Just like with anything in life, there are improvement areas. In this case, it was around task scheduling, employee work-life balance, and project progress clarity. I shared this feedback privately with the owner, and he assured me that he will consider this and take the required actions. He also shared that there were some unforeseen, unique challenges during my project, which contributed to some of these challenges. Overall, all good.

I went with another company that was cheaper and regretted it. Hemlock came and did my estimates and were very professional. I went with a lower price quote and got what i paid for. Next time, ill use Hemlock.

What a great experience dealing with Elliot and his team for a commercial project. We had to have the interior of our showroom painted and they did a fantastic job.

Elliot is responsive with emails and we were able to secure the dates we needed immediately. The quote was completed in a professional and timely manner - honestly the pricing was so much more reasonable than other quotes we had received and with all the positive reviews on Yelp it was an easy decision.

On the day of the paint job, Elliot's team arrived on time and were professional during the whole process. The job was completed on time and the quality of the work was outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the outcome. We are very happy with the finished work and will be using Hemlock for any future interior painting needs also. We had our house painted recently and I couldn't have been happier with Hemlock Painting. The estimate by Stephen was thorough and accurate. Elliot the owner was wonderful in dealing with all our nuances. Mike and his crew were meticulous. There was stonework and a new roof to work around and they didn't spill a drop. Mike was extremely thoughtful and sensitive to all our needs and we could not have asked for better expertise. I know this sounds like I am a relative (I am not) but I am a very, very happy customer and would highly recommend Hemlock.

We hired Hemlock to paint out downtown apartment, and would definitely recommend them for anybody looking for painting services! Elliot was professional and came out on short notice to prepare a quote, which he stuck to in the end. The painting was done extremely well and there was not a spot on the place that looked less than perfect. His payment processing was quick and easy and the whole process was smooth start to finish! We just had our 750 sq ft condo painted by Hemlock and are very pleased with the results. Elliot was very communicative and responded quickly with any questions we had. They finished on time, and the price quoted was very reasonable. We have detailed crown molding and they did a great job on it, even making the seams less noticeable where the previous owner did a poor job at installing it. They fixed all the little gouges in the wall that happened when we moved in. Condo was nicely cleaned after they were finished as well. They were easy to work with. Would hire them again without hesitation!

I had a great experience working with Hemlock Painting. I had them paint my entire condo before moving in. They were efficient, and stuck with the proposed timeline and left my home in great shape. Communication was always quick and efficient, which I really appreciated as well.

There was one issue that came up with my closet organizer being removed without my consent, because it was apparently in bad shape, which I did not remember being the case from the times I'd viewed the condo. Regardless, Hemlock was amazing about replacing it and spending a guy over to install the new organizer for me. They really turned around what was a frustrating experience into a very positive experience. I hired them because I'm not a handy girl, and they met all my expectations and left my condo looking amazing.

We just had our place painted in Vancouver and couldn't be happier with the job Elliot and his crew did. They were able to schedule us immediately and got the job done quickly and effeciently. Cost was on point as well. Highly recommend Hemlock for any paint jobs you have.
