Very professional company. Great communication. They went the distance for us. Brian did our pest control but also (on a crazy hot day) did cobweb removal that was so badly needed. The house was covered in grey spider webs (2 stories), and he removed them all!

We hired HomeShield to do a rodent inspection. Dee was terrific. On time, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, detailed. We have a much better understanding of our rat issue and how best to address it. Highly recommend HomeShield.

This company is highly professional and courteous. They did a thorough inspection for free.
When we decided to work with them, they scheduled an appointment to promptly treat our premises. They arrived when expected and then worked on termites as well as general-pest control.
We signed on for regular service because we know the job will get done thoroughly.
The best part: pet, plant, and human friendly with natural, earth-friendly products.

I was contacted by one of the Operations Managers shortly after I made my initial review. He was very apologetic, explained that there were some internal issues going on with their North LA department and new hires that had recently been made which caused some serious miscommunication on their end. Regardless of his explanation, he did not make excuses, he owned the mistake on behalf of his company genuinely wanted to do anything he could to make everything right which is more than some companies will do.

In the end, I'm still very disappointed with the service I experienced with Headshield but they did reimburse us fully for the cost of an Air BnB that we incurred when we expected to be out of our home for treatment (which they no-showed on for July 8th) and this left us at net zero out of pocket costs.

Although financial ramifications are nil. The time, energy and effort spent in going with this company still leaves me with an overall negative experience.

Despite the efforts made by their senior leadership to right the ship with us, I would still not recommend this company for any pest control services to anyone reading this review.

We have 3 people trying to call you for over a week and confirm you are coming. Crickets, pun intended.

You got right back to us to take money. Company has been paid.

We question the integrity of your
monthly pricing and hooking us into a monthly annual service that may be overkill on poison we have to live with. Of course you want a lucrative business, however, are you taking advantage, over charging, under delivering?

Am waiting for you now. Have tried and tried to call.
Are you on you almost here?

Is after 1 and you scheduled 8-12 with me personally. Have spent time prepping and preparing.

Company has not return calls.
Has not respond to texts.
Is a nightmare trying to reach this company.

Maybe we will amend this review if you respond. There is no excuse for your terrible business communication. I was the one who recommended you, i told you that, i said, don't make me look bad. You are making me look bad. People are upset.
You are making yourselves look bad. Am sure you can fix that easily if you choose to.

To people reading, i like being positive. When i get bad service on a place "yelp" recommends, i wish i knew beforehand. So i am making readers aware, at this time, the company may be well intended, yet is too busy to take care of you.

To the company, is Monday...

Brian was excellent!!!!!! After finding Home Shield with the great Yelp reviews I didn't understand how they had such great stars after the first guy came and didn't even get all our spider webs nor did our windows and only sprayed the bare minimum(just around our house) but now I understand how they have such great reviews Brian was very thorough and took his time to explain everything to us and got all our spider webs and did the windows and all the cracks in our front and backyard Brian was amazing and I'm so happy we have him coming to our house, it's so important when you have kids and dogs and he made me feel very comfortable and confident that the job was done right!

I had a great experience with Brian from Home Shield Pest Control. Although the time frame for the appointment was 4 hours, which was a bit inconvenient, Brian made it much easier by sending a message 20 minutes before arriving. This allowed me to prepare in advance. He arrived on time, was very professional, and took the time to explain the process and answer all my questions. I really appreciate his thorough work and friendly attitude. Highly recommend Home Shield for anyone needing pest control services!

Honestly 10/10 recommendations Dee was amazing. He so friendly and hard working. We had our exterminator that we have had for years come to check out our house on Friday because the smell of a dead animal was unbearable. I literally had to leave because the smell gave me a headache. According to our exterminator there was no dead animal and no smell. The smell got worst during the long hot weekend and on Monday Dee showed up. He checked everywhere until he found the problem a dead rat eaten by maggots which was nasty the problem was taken care of in less than 30 minutes. Honestly I highly recommend this company. Dee was so professional and knowledgeable. Explained everything. Awesome service
