The food was delicious, the fries were very crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside, the seasoning wasn't too salty either. I came here at 5:15 to try their tacos, but unfortunately they don't start serving tacos until 6:30pm. The burger was delicious and very filling, I only ate half and didn't finish the fries either. The food was ready within 10 minutes as it wasn't busy at all in the dining area. There is a jukebox which people were playing music on, so that was fun. The staff were friendly too.

In South San Francisco this is the local sports fans choice bar that carries an advantage of serving excellent bar food so as to encourage one to drink more of course.
I liked everything I tried but the taco Tuesday or wing Wednesdays are a favorite of mine.
Near many great restaurants so this can also function as a nite cap stop easily.
Drink wise to each their own but I personally enjoy the Moscow mule or splash brothers so I can recommend those confidently.
If you arrive during rush/game hours it will likely be a crowded hot mess in here but that's also one of the reasons to come here in the first place if your looking for the big game day fan experience & it's cheaper than tailgating.

Noted for strong drinks, lots of TV's to watch the game and great bar food

I have been coming here about a handful of times now and was happy to find a happy upbeat place to get a drink; the drinks are good but what makes it better is the food, yes the food; it's hard to say but the best burger I've eaten is here at hometown heroes. All the bartenders I've met there are really friendly. I like that is a neighborhood bar but has a vibe of a bigger sports bar.
There's pool for those that want to play and plenty of tvs to watch the games.
Great place to hang out with friends and have a drink, younger crowd and DJs on some days that I've been there.
If you can't stay for a drink order the food to go or get it delivered or get a drink while you wait for your food.
      Remember to drink responsibly.

Really enjoy this small spot in SSF.
The burgers are pricey, but you get what you pay for here.
The meat is good, the bread taste fresh.
The menu is full of nice selections, from burgers to speciality sandwiches. I have experienced both the burgers and sandwiches ;and since I'm a big fan of crunch bread, yeah I ran thru a couple of their sandwich selections. But that "The blues burger",man ... I definitely recommend this spot ;if ever in San Francisco. It's close to the airport, tucked away and full of locals.. See u again soon..

This place is poppin! For a Tuesday its a great place to have a drink. Be prepared to stand as there's not much seating. Drinks are good. There's food to order on the side.

      Street parking.

Service is good. It's loud in here as the DJ is turning it up.

      Not bad for a TUESDAY

Back here in SSF on Grand Ave killing time and decided to have a Modelo Especial on tap & Red Stripe and which one usually doesn't find unless you are at a Caribbean bar or restaurant which would offer it. Different bartender from my first visit but he was great. Low key, soft spoken African American bartender on an early Friday evening and was watching how he poured beers on draft as well as how he put on gloves when he handled sliced limes or other ready to eat garnishes. Great food safety practices by him. Need to try ordering some food the next time I'm here as they have a good variety of hot and cold sandwiches, chicken wings, fries and other bar type food

      Just here for a beer

Who would have known a random Tuesday would be lit! Local spot tucked away. Staff is really nice. Jeff is a sweetheart! Book you a reserve table in advance. Drinks are good. The DJ was jamming. Street parking, no reserve table, prepare to stand. The food choices are legit!!

This is the go-to spot for Taco Tuesdays that is run by Jeff. He is super hospitable and literally the nicest guy ever. This place is poppin' every Tuesday night because there is always a DJ playing top Hip Hop/Latin/Bay Area hits. Happy Hour specials are a great deal, I highly recommend their Margarita pitchers if you come in a group.

The food here is solid, I love their tacos here! But for sure, this is the spot to come to with your friends if you want to party on a Tuesday night or just have a casual drink with good music.

So to be honest initially the reason we came here was for the hidden spot which is located inside ...

And then we realize surprise it's really hometown heroes with the hidden spot inside!

Staff was very nice very welcoming

Drinks were delicious very strong which I've loved

They paired very well with our food from the hidden spot!!
