      Our car buying experience today was excellent! Our sales person, Haig Sujohn, was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. Haig and his manager Cal made the process smooth and simple. This is our second car purchase from Hopkins Acura and we highly recommend them if you are in the market for a new or used car!

      If I could, I'd give this Acura Service Department a 0. DO NOT GO HERE. Drive to the Oakland one even if it's farther because they are a well-oiled machine. I've been here 3x, and this is the last and here are just a few reasons why.

      1) I came in for the A1 Service ... this is a basic oil change, scheduled my appointment for 9am expecting to be done by 10:30am at the latest because they said it was 1hr service. When I came, he said he'd be right with me for check in in the service lounge which he never did. After seeing a guy after me being approached at 11am, I finally had it and asked what's the status here because it's reportedly an hour. He said "they're backed up", offered no apology and then I had to prompt him with how much longer... to which he said 20 minutes. An oil change doesn't take 2.5 hours.

      2) Prior to the above change, they had called because I was around the time due for service. The person who called, had no idea about the discount he was offering, when it was valid until, what the price of an A1 Service was that I told him, I'd figure it out separately. Clearly he was a trainee and they hadn't equipped him with any information.

      3) Their lounge sucks.

      4) Everytime I've gone, they've usually tried to sell me on another deficiency that the Oakland dealership had never mentioned nor had a Mechanic who had previously done a full inspection on my car.

      5) My last service prior to this, they left a half eaten pack of Nutter Butters in my cup holder and my car is super clean so I was not pleased.

      This place is just out to make money , has terrible customer service, and a terrible space. Go to Oakland - they have a huge waiting area. They check in with you multiple times regarding what's necessary, any additional steps, and what the costs will be, and have a separate paying area from the front desk to expedite things. I thought this would be a basic service to get at this dealership but clearly not.

      I recently bought a 2015 Acura TLX, it is an amazing, beautiful, and reliable car but, with all that being said what stood out the most to me is the help I received from the entire team! Especially the help of Pablo Sosa! He is extremely knowledge and will always have you in mind first. He made this car shopping experience amazing and easy! He even checks up on me making sure everything was to my satisfaction. I had a great time looking for and buying this car. Thank you to the entire team and a special thanks to Mr.Sosa. Gracias!

      I had an issue with my 2019 Acura TLX aspec. All the sensors went haywire ! I arranged for it to be dropped off. Ricardo my service advisor helped me out. Got everything taken care of under my warranty. Going forward taking my car to the dealer. He will be the one to work on my vehicle. I appreciated the prompt service. Very forthcoming with all info. Hopefully I don't have to go any time soon outside of maintenance

      Brought my 2023 Acura MDX in for its very first service. It's not quite at 10,000 miles yet.

      While I was initially pretty unhappy with the experience, I'm now sold more than ever on Hopkins Acura.

      First, let me explain why I was unhappy.

      When I bought the Acura, I was told that all service was covered during the first two years. That's only sort of true. There are costs, but not for normal wear and tear items. In other words, the stuff that must be routinely maintained is covered. Stuff that should be maintained due to a service schedule is optional. In this particular case, it was the differential fluid. Between that and some miscommunication with the service advisor led me to be unhappy. Which I catalogued here on Yelp.

      Why I'm sold more than ever is that Mike, the service manager reached out to do service recovery. Not once, but continuously until he was able to reach me.

      The reason this is important is because most people doing service recovery will make an attempt or two, then leave a boilerplate VM saying something like, "I tried to get ahold of you. If you still want to talk, call me."

      Mike called until we spoke on the phone. He outlined what he did to correct trajectory with his team going forward and made a sincere apology for the perceived issues. In the end, we saw eye to eye and I appreciated it.

      All in all, I'm now a very satisfied customer and will recommend Hopkins Acura.

      This explains all the hidden costs of ownership that you won't see until you bring your car for the first service.

      I recently had the pleasure of working with Michael Aviles, service manager Hopkins Acura, and I must say, I was blown away by the exceptional level of service he provided. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to ensure warranty repair experience of our Acura RDX A-Spec was nothing short of outstanding.

      From the moment I walked in, the service manager greeted me with a warm smile and made us feel like a valued customer. He took the time to listen attentively to my concerns and addressed each one with genuine care and expertise. It was evident that he was not just interested in resolving issues but also in ensuring my overall satisfaction and peace of mind.

      We had a hiccup during the vehicle pickup process, and discovered ants had gotten into the vehicle. He went above and beyond to fully detail the vehicle, kept it an additional day to ensure the ant problem was addressed. We keep the car extremely clean, which was really strange. Michael found the ants swarmed around one piece of dry dog kibble (1 cm diameter).

      Throughout the entire process, the service manager kept me updated on the progress, ensuring that I never felt left in the dark. His communication skills were exemplary, and I truly appreciated the clear explanations he provided, even for complex technical matters.

      Furthermore, he went the extra mile by arranging a courtesy car for us, a brand new RDX with less than 150 miles on it. It's these gestures that make a significant difference in customer experience and loyalty.

      In conclusion, the service manager's dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for his customers are truly commendable. He turned what could have been a stressful and frustrating experience into a seamless and pleasant one. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking top-notch service at the dealership. Kudos to Michael!

      The most positive and smoothest car shopping and buying experience we've had in years.

      Came in right before Christmas to look for a car for my husband. We had done some research and had a couple cars we wanted to test drive and compare. Haig was friendly, concise, and helpful. He made sure we had all of our questions answered and was patient with us as we weighed our options.

      We came back a few days later to close the deal and drive away with the new-to-us car. Honestly, it was probably the best deal on the lot and we couldn't have asked for a quicker process. (For reference, we bought a car at the same time 2 years ago and it took us over 6 hours.) We were in and out of the dealership in under 2 hours.

      Thank you! Even now, after the we've closed on the car deal, Haig has been available via text and call for any lingering questions.

      2 words: Friendly & Efficient. Not only did Hopkins Acura offer the best deals, their staff were great (thanks Raj) and the buying process was quick and efficient. Bought an Integra yesterday and returned today for some help connecting 2 iPhones to the car. Again, Raj was polite, helpful and efficient. Highly recommended.
