One of my favorite brunch spots in SF! I've visited a few times for brunch on the weekend and have always had a great experience. The restaurant is beautiful, and the food and service are excellent! I really like their brunch menu. My favorite items to order are:

Grilled Steak Burrito: caramelized onions & peppers, eggs, avocado, creme fraiche, salsa cruda, jack cheese

Gochujang Crispy Wings: fermented chili, honey, sesame oil, ranch

The burrito is HUGE and tastes great with the guacamole. It's so big that I'm pretty much full after eating it! I also love the flavor of their Gochujang crispy wings, which is a dish my friends and I often order to share at our table.

Definitely a great spot for brunch with friends/family!

I had a really satisfying experience here. It's a cute place for a casual, but romantic date night. The seating inside is a little tight, but there's some outdoor seating, too. The service was good, and the food and drinks all seem to be slight twists on American comfort food and I was into it.

Gochujang Crispy Wings: A great starter! Sweet, spicy, and a lovely crunch. It's a hefty portion, too.

Double Cheeseburger with Umami Fries: This is a solidly good burger with great flavor. The brioche bun is a nice touch. The fries were delicious.

Two Piece Fried Chicken: Crisp, boneless chicken thighs with sriracha honey. So good. The corn equites were a tasty surprise, and no complaints about that mac and cheese!

Trendy bar with a relatively small selection of unique bites. I didn't drink anything, so this review is solely about the food.

      Good:
Double Cheeseburger - Double smash burger served on a soft brioche(??) roll. No complaints here, a solid and pretty hefty burger. Not sure if it's worth $19. The fries it's served with are seasoned with special seasoning and served with a delicious curry spiced ketchup, but the fries themselves are overseasoned and too salty.
Goat Cheese Artichoke Dip - a unique taste with the goat cheese for sure. Definitely scoop up the dip with a utensil onto each slice of bread that accompanies, since the serving of dip is in abundance compared to the bread.

      Ok:
Pork Cochinita Pibil tacos - the pork itself is good and they give a decent serving on each taco, but the hand made tortilla was quite dense and in my opinion lacked some texture on the exterior. Ended up kind of like a tamale. Not my favorite, but the fillings and accoutrements were good.
Duck fat fries - fries were cooked well, but overseasoned, as stated above in the accompaniment to the burger. The curry spiced ketchup was good. Couldn't really taste the duck fat? Perhaps my taste is too lowbrow...

Overall, I understand this place is a more upscale bar in San Francisco, but I don't particularly believe the higher prices are justified with the quality of the food. The inside is really dark, and the table was a little dirty (the dirty bits were hard to notice, since it was so dark). Service was professional and friendly.

As a disclaimer, this review is only for Horsefeather's cocktails, as we have not yet tried their food.

Although quite busy when we stopped by, we were able to grab seats at the bar since we were only ordering cocktails. I started with the Daywalker while my partner started with the Moonraker. Both drinks were absolutely fantastic!

The Daywalker had a nice smoky, mango flavor, that came together beautifully with the tequila and other ingredients when I stirred in the foam. I was particularly impressed with how well composed the cocktail drank, given the different flavors from the various ingredients.

As cafe de olla lovers, the Moonraker was our favorite coffee cocktail we've had so far, and the cinnamony essence of the cafe de olla elevated the flavor above an espresso martini.

For our second drinks, I got the Golden Hour while my partner got the Breakfast Punch.

Although still tasty, our second drinks did not quite live up to our expectations set by our first cocktails.

The Golden Hour had a nice coconut and lime flavor, and was super quaffable and enjoyable, while the Breakfast Punch had a nice corn and cinnamony flavor, that definitely hit the Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor they were going for.

Overall, we still really loved the cocktails at Horsefeather, as our first round of cocktails were some of our favorites we've tried thus far in the city, and will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Stopped in for a quick bite while wandering the neighborhood and felt a little peckish.
Plenty of seats on a sunday around lunchtime- this place has a good date-vibe feel to it in the evenings also.
Sat at the bar and split a katsu sando- along with a few drinks, the service was quick and the sandwich flavorful- liked the soft bread against the crispiness of the big chicken katsu, the sandwich was nicely filled so it worked for a midday snack break for us.
Would love to come back and try the rest of the menu too, which seemed appetizing. Friendly chatty servers at the bar too.

Bars are usually dark so that you have to use a flashlight to read the menu. but this place is so dark you can't see what you're eating.

The food was good although the beet and strawberry salad had lots of beets and slivers from one cut up berry and the smoked tuna was tasty but had very little tuna and I couldn't taste any smoke.

Our server was lovely but the dishes coming out of the kitchen were very slow.

      Lively bar crowd.

      Great food!

Ordered the katsu sando ($18) and shared the duck fat fries ($8). Both came with large portions, enough to take food home for a second meal! Very flavorful and delicious.

Sat in the small outside patio, and the servers were attentive and nice. They allow pets on the patio

This place is first and foremost a cocktail bar, and DAMN are these cocktails good. "Birds of a Feather" was sweeter than what the description would have you believe (but in a good way), and the "Daywalker" came highly recommended by the waitress, and for good reason! The pineapple foam was reminiscent of an adult-version of a Dole whip.

The heavily Korean-inspired American fare was also delicious and arrived quickly. The duck-fat fries are very rich (as expected) and are honestly too big a portion for two people -- they'd be better split among four or more.

The gochujang chicken wings perfectly master that Korean-style fried chicken; somehow both incredibly saucy and yet still perfectly crispy (seriously, how do they do that??). I enjoy moderate spice and didn't find them too spicy at all.

While the lemon prawns with risotto were good, we found it less inspiring than the Wagyu beef roast from our previous visit -- if you're looking for a home run, opt for the roast.

The vibe is sexy and moody, with a cool atrium in the front. They tend to leave the door open for air flow, so come prepared with an extra layer or two if you run cold.

This place was so cute! Came here on a Saturday night and was seated outside. The service was great as multiple people came to help us and to check on how we were liking the food. We got 3 appetizers and the Wagyu beef roast.

The deviled eggs were really tasty and flavorful! The cauliflower was also delicious as the portion size was pretty big too but my favorite was the toast and artichoke dip as it melted in my mouth!

The Wagyu beef roast was a bit disappointing as the Wagyu wasn't as flavorful as I would've hoped and the polenta was a bit bland. I was only able to take a couple of bites before I gave the rest to my family which is why I gave this place 4 stars. Personally wouldn't get this dish again but overall I liked this restaurant and might come back to try another item on the menu.

I absolutely love the aesthetics here, especially the middle green-house-like area. It does get too loud here so I feel like I'm shouting. The service is very fast, and the servers are attentive.

The food overall was good! My favorites were definitely the smoked trout and beet salad due to the colorful presentation and poignant flavors.
