The kindest group of people who do their very best to help all the animals that come into their care. I adopted my pup from this no kill shelter and could not have had a better experience. Before anyone chooses to speak negatively about the hardworking individuals here, they should take a day and go volunteer at Hub City Humane Society and see what this place is all about.

Horrible eye opening experience for me about our local humane society and who runs it. I found a sick small cat while on a walk and took it to Hub City Humane Society which was just down the street from where I was walking. The manager argued with me about taking it! I was stunned! Then she said they would take it if I made a donation. I told her I probably had a check in the car and she said she didn't take checks. The poor crying cat was tossed in a carrier by the scruff of her neck and the manager complained that now they would have to incur vet fees and out the door she went. I told the two girls remaining I didn't want anything bad to happen to the cat as a result of me bringing it in, so to please call me if the vet said it needed something. My daughter called them later and said the same thing, she would pay for treatment. A few hours later someone called me and said the vet put the cat to sleep. They did not call me or my daughter first. They didn't even try to save the poor animal. I feel like I doomed the poor cat when all I was trying to do was rescue it. I believe if you're going to be a "humane society" then your staff should exhibit some modicum of feeling and regard for animals and the people who come to your door.

Great staff! Met us on a Sunday when we found our dog and then let us come back on a Sunday to pick him up!

If you can, it'd be better to go during the week but we were traveling over 2 hours to get our new dog! Love him to death! Thanks so much!!!

Got my dog from Hub City at an adoption event. Hub City puts so much time in taking care of their dogs and making sure they are ready to go for adoption! Chloe is my new baby, and I could not think of a better shelter to go to. I recommend Hub City to all of my friends!! Thanks Hub City for my new baby!!
