We have used Humbolt Tree Service several times to maintain our fruit trees which include several plum trees, a lemon tree and a very large walnut tree.
Each time we were very satisfied with the work that was done. The folks at Humbolt Tree Service were always punctual, efficient and the results were more than satisfactory. Each time the directions we gave were fully followed and any suggested changes were discussed before continuing. The workers were respectful of the gardens surrounding the trees and generally friendly and considerate. I would highly recommend that you consider Humbolt Tree Service when you need a competent tree pruning or removal service.

We needed two very large yucca trees removed from our yard, and the stumps ground down. It took a full day and a LOT of work -- and two trips to the dump. Today, six-months later, we had them back to trim the remaining fruit trees and bring them back down within reach. Both jobs very reasonably priced, and expertly completed.

This is my 3rd time using David and his crew to come out and trim our huge Elm tree in our front yard. We also had bamboo that was growing like crazy in our backyard and he was able to take care of that too, all in one morning. They were in and out and very professional.

From beginning to end, our experience with Humboldt Tree Service was a dream. Contacted Tim to prune and shape two large pine trees and a huge magnolia tree. Tim came out to assess the work and also gave suggestions for maintaining other plants and trees in the yard. Day of, Tim and crew were prompt, efficient and professional. Our trees were left with lots of "windows" (spaces between branches) and were symmetrically shaped. Tim, thank you for enhancing our little patch of outdoors with your years of experience!

Humboldt Tree Service came to my grandmothers house to cut and trim her trees in her backyard, this is her review.

Mr. Tim Chang and his crew of Humboldt Tree Service in Brisbane cut back, shaped, and trimmed my neighbors tree which was partially covering the roof of my house. They also cleaned the gutter and the alleyway which was covered with a thick layer of dried pine needles. They were very professional, prompt, and courteous. I would highly recommend them.

These guys came out to service our neighbors tree that was entagled in power lines. The space they were working on was direct above our driveway. They never gave us any prior notice that work was to be done on any specific day. When I approached them about the work they were doing I offered to move my car so that they could get the work done without any issues.
Later on in the afternoon, I asked who I can only assume was the supervisor if they could not use the leaf blower near the drive way and use brooms instead. The guy began to roll his eyes repeatedly and began raising his voice at me and telling me that his crew already "told" me to move my car. That never happened, I offered. He continued to be loud and at that point I asked him if he was trying to properly run a business and that if he was that he should probably work on being more professional. He continued to mouth off and finally walked over to ask the crew to sweep up the debris.
The crew that did the actual work were not at fault here. The supervisor was unprofessional in dealing with myself and also repeatedly complained about the neighbors requests that were paying him. When it's all said and done, I would never recommend that anyone use Humboldt Tree Service to work on their property. The supervisor was incapable of containing his aggression when dealing with myself. Please be advised, this is not the company you want to use it the face of the company conducts himself in this specific manner.

The owner of Humboldt Tree Service came to the house and gave me a very fair quote to Prune and Reduce the Crown on our large Acacia tree in the back yard. The knowledgable owner was then on site and in the tree working on the project with his friendly team. Our job was completed quickly and great care was taken to protect our property and that of the neighbors as well as cleaning up the entire area upon completion.
I will definitely call Tim back Whenever I need advice or more tree services.

I had to call a tree company in an emergency about a year ago. I found Humboldt. Tim, the owner came out and took care of my fallen tree. In addition, since the tree had fallen into electric wiring, he referred an electrician who was excellent too. This year when we needed the trees trimmed, we called Humboldt. Not only did they do a really great job on the trees, they found a birds nest in one and made sure to trim around it and not disturb the bird family. Honest and reliable.

The last gardener butchered our 40+ year old Magnolia tree last year. Tim Chang came to the rescue, recommending how best to salvage this beautiful tree. He also quoted us such a below market price compared to other tree services we've used in the past. However, Tim happened to be going on vacation and said his son would come by. When his son Lawrence came to do the job, he was shocked with the price his dad quoted. But professional as he is, he honored his dad's price and gave our tree a beautiful makeover. I highly recommend this company. Tim, thank you. See you next year for the next trim.

This is the second time they've trimmed a big pine tree in my backyard. The first one was in 2014. Both times the work has been excellent. The tree looks really nice.
They were on time on the day of the work and completed the work quickly. They did a full cleanup of the yard.
Tim and his crew are really nice and super professional
