Imitation crab contain wheat, so it isn’t gluten-free. However, we offer real crab, which is gluten-free.

Hidden neighborhood gem. Sushi is great, service is great, and the ambiance is very cool. They have plenty of outdoor seating and the indoor seating has a section where you can sit at a low table in a more traditional manner.

We often order take out for pick up and appreciate that they have a station outside so you don't need to enter the restaurant to retrieve your order.

Another hidden gem.good food, good service. Their wine selection can be improved dramatically.

      Really nice veggie rolls!

Food and service are both good.
We were surprised that tea was not offered and noticed there wasn't tea on the other tables.
      Still, I would go back.

I came here during a weeknight instead of my usual weekend dinner. The service was fast and efficient even for the main interior being busy. My go to is the chicken teriyaki. It wasn't cooked how I've had it before. Maybe it was a different cook or something. I'll come back to try again and hoping it was just a one time error. Prefer to sit in the main interior also since the other room seemed odd.

This one has been on my list for a bit! Since it was hot, thought it'd be good to get some sushi for dinner.

The interior is super cute with cherry blossom decor on walls and lots of fairy lights hanging from the ceiling.

They also have the Zashiki style seating option (a traditional Japanese restaurant seating arrangement featuring a low table set on tatami flooring) where you have a seat cushion on the floor. Not recommended for those who might have difficulty maneuvering too much.

A small edamame appetizer is complimentary and served once you get seated.

I only wanted to go here to try the Double Toro Roll, which was me and my bf's favorite roll out of the three we ordered! Loved that it has two types of toro, tuna and salmon belly! I would definitely order two of these next time we visit, LOL. So yummy if you're a fan of toro! 12/10

Our second favorite roll was the Phoenix Roll. I liked the slight hint of spice, but I wish it was spicier, so I added lots of wasabi. I do have a high spice tolerance, though. Refreshing taste notes. 8.5/10

Next was the Hamachi Roll with Avocado. It is one of the more basic rolls, but it was fresh and simple. Still tasty overall! 7.5/10

Lastly, we wanted to try the otoro nigiri to end the night off strong. It was two decently sized pieces. We loved how it was melt in your mouth!! It was definitely the winner of the night alongside the Double Toro Roll!

Also, the menu has a 50% off special for the first drink of the table if you tell the server "Happy Anniversary."

Can't wait until the next time we go back here!

If you are not familiar with this area, you might get lost, like me. After a few illegal turns *skrrt skrrt*, I finally made it to this hidden plaza. I arrived around 6:15 pm on a Wednesday and it was already somewhat packed. I placed my name on the sheet and was told I couldn't be seated until my whole party was present. You have the option of sitting indoor or outdoor, I opted for inside. As the place started to fill up, the kind hostess actually seated me at the last indoor table (a smile goes a long way!).

I don't really go all out with the omakases but the treasure box was too pretty to pass up. If I could remember everything in that box, I would sign up for some reality challenge show because my memory is sh*t! Let's just say, everything was very fresh and delicious. I usually don't eat uni, traumatized from my first time, but this melted like butter.

Service was amazing. Food was great.

Ichika Sushi House is a bit of a hidden gem tucked away in a strip mall in Brisbane. Don't let the location fool you. This place was buzzing on a weekend night! They only have indoor seating, but luckily, I snagged a spot at the bar right away without a reservation.

They brought out a complimentary plate of edamame to start. It was served cold and unsalted, but hey, free edamame is free edamame, and it kept me occupied while I perused the menu. Shout out to Ichika for having a fun anniversary deal - half off your first drink or a $1 soda if you wish them a happy anniversary!

I went for their omakase nigiri, which at $52 for 10 pieces felt like a pretty good deal. Now, it wasn't a super fancy omakase experience where the chef explains each piece and you savor them one by one. All the nigiri came out together on a plate with a side of ginger. The server did tell me what each piece was, but that was about it. The ginger itself was a bit strong and on the crunchy side. Also, each piece had a dab of wasabi already inside - not a ton, but something to be aware of if you have a sensitive palate.

That being said, the fish itself was fresh, and the cuts were generous. The flavors weren't mind-blowing or complex, but for the price point, it was perfectly pleasant. Overall, Ichika Sushi House is a good spot for a casual sushi meal. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was decent, especially considering the price. It's definitely worth a visit.

Quick service, delicious sushi and entrees, and easy parking-- 10/10!!

Food is great whether you go for sushi or their non fish options. We always get the sushi combo or a mix of rolls and sashimi/sushi. Their chicken karage is the best I've had at any sushi place here in the Bay Area, their sauce is delicious!!

Dinner time is definitely busy and they don't take reservations so you just have to walk in and write your name on the paper list in front of the restaurant. They offer indoor and outdoor covered seating and usually the wait isn't too bad on weekday evenings for walk ins.

The main room with the sushi chefs can be tight seating where you somewhat overhear tables nearby but the room inside is quieter and seats bigger groups.

This place really is a gem located in Brisbane. I haven't been back here in a couple of years, but the food and service is just as good as I remember.

There's a parking lot out front that can get busy because it's shared with other businesses. My friend and I got there around 6:30 and we were able to get seated right away. The staff was great about checking in frequently. They have tables inside and outside the restaurant.

The fish taco appetizer is a must!! It's fried seaweed that's topped with salsa, seared fish, and avocado. My friend got the phoenix roll and double toro. I loved the phoenix roll because it has truffle oil which brings out great flavor. It was my first time ordering the treasure box and I was super impressed. The presentation was beautiful and each dish was unique. The box was $85 which is a splurge but good to try at least once.

We had a reservation, parking was pretty easy to find.
Overall it was jus overpriced japanese food tbh. I dont completely rmbr how much everything was but especially for the sushi it was overpriced. My friend got like some vegan(?) roll, i dont rmbr LOL it was like 10$, for six tiny tiny pieces. And one of them had some hard plastic thingy too which was weird...
I got the ramen, i think tonkatsu, it was pretty good but there was sooo much noodle compared to broth so at the end it was jus noodle. The broth was good tho. I liked the meat bc it wasnt too fatty.
