Ignite Pizzeria

Had the fresh ricotta pizza upon flying in late. What an intro to the freshness of Vancouver cuisine!

Every bite was flavorful, and the wood-fired crust was the perfect texture (just not the day after).

This place is beyond confusing (and I am apt to believe that it is somehow my fault...). So the four cheese pizza includes blue cheese and no tomato sauce... so it tastes like pure feet and there is no brightness/acidity whatsoever to help you get over/past/around the feetiness. It was my fault for ordering the pizza and not reading extra carefully but seriously, who would create such a thing and call it four cheese pizza... more like toe jam toast.

Secondly, the Mediterranean Salad comes with honey mustard?!? I cannot say that I have ever come across this odd combination... maybe there is a reason... it's gross. Also, there were so few of the actually interesting ingredients that after eating them I was still left with a depressingly huge pile of green leaves that I felt would have been better off doing photosynthesis stuff than acting as filler.

I'll bet that I just happened to order the worst things on menu... but I have to question why two dishes this bad need to exist at all?

One big downside - they do not have sausage as a topping. They have pretty much everything else, but no sausage.

The pizza is very good. The service is great. And it's a nice yuppie furniture, etc. layout.

Still the most delicious veggie pizza. I get the Vegan Dream with regular cheese. There's plenty of wild mushrooms, spinach, artichokes, and other ingredients that make this pizza pretty special. Servers and workers are kind and friendly. The happy hour specials keep me coming back. It's usually quiet and laid back with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Clean and inviting.

This one of a few Ignite Pizzeria locations, located in a good spot in Yaletown, next to Yaletown Park, which makes it almost feel hidden. The patio is nice and would be an especially good place to sit if you want to dog-watch since the park is very popular with dogs. There's no dedicated kids menu but it's a family-friendly environment. There's table service, but it's very casual. My waitress was super nice.
It's not a dedicated vegan pizza place but they make a great vegan pizza here. I ordered the Vegan Dream, which came with lots of toppings - the mixed mushroom assortment was nice. Thin crust with beautifully pillowy edges. They provide Italian hot sauce and chili oil as condiments; I've never seen this hot sauce before and I really liked it, although the pizza was also very nice without the added heat so I was alternating sauces with and without the hot sauce. Their vegan cheese is pretty close to the real thing. This is the only Ignite location to offer small 10" pizzas - the other locations only have medium or large whole pizza, or slices. No slices here.
They also have a small selection of Uno Gelato, both small personal cups and pints. The salted caramel was great as expected. It would be nicer presentation-wise if they served scooped gelato, and I wonder if this would be more cost-effective since they could buy bigger containers? Of course, it still tastes great and they are a pizzeria, not an ice cream shop, so I'm not super bothered.

We ordered a XL Yaletown Sunshine pizza to go. It still tasted good after warming it up for 1.5 hrs after picking it up. Lots of toppings throughout the pizza. Note: all 3 locations have different selections of what's available. There's pizza for vegans, herbivores, & carnivores.

We got the Margarita & pepperoni pizzas. As well as a salad. Everything was very good. We ordered a takeaway and everything came as expected.

After a long day walking around Vancouver, we were happy to seat here on the patio for a much deserved rest. This is a counter service restaurant. We ordered a small 10" Marghertia with no basil and a Meet Lovers. The size was perfect for a single person. The crust was thin and flavorful. We demolished both pizzas in no time. Would definitely recommend.

Pizza and service was phenomenal. Spacious dining indoor and outdoor.
We sat outside and the server was very attentive.

The crust and chew on the pizza was excellent. Pizza had the perfect crisp bottom and was cooked perfectly. Everything was well balanced, looking forward to trying their more adventurous Pizza flavours.

Excellent price for a high end Pizza, especially for the size. (XL) $23 , works out to $4/slice.

Pizza was great. We ordered to go but they have some really good happy hour deals if you dine in. We ordered the ricotta and the pepperoni primo. Both very good.
