InoVino is a gem in Cole Valley! Intimate and cozy Italian wine bar that has great happy hour options, cheese and charcuterie dishes, and a plethora of Italian wines.

My girlfriend and I came to this little spot on a whim on a busy Thursday night. We tried their Italian wine sampler tastings (Under the Tuscan Flight and Alpine Flight,) a cheese plate (Black Truffle Formaggio,) and ordered 2 separate pastas (Truffle Potato gnocchi and Spaghettoni Rummo.)

The wines and dishes did not disappoint.
      Service was friendly and attentive.

I love this Italian wine bar tucked away on the corner of Cole, and would love to be back again.

Wine bar with a homey vibe and fantastic Italian food! Highly recommend InoVino!

Ambiance & Service: The inside is small but well-spaced, giving it a rustic, wholesome feel. The service was excellent--attentive and relaxed!

      Food & Drink:
      - Orange Wine: We shared a bottle of their natural orange wine, which was wonderfully tart and not too sweet!
      - Cheese/Salami Board: They made us a delicious board with prosciutto and pecorino. The bread was soft and fluffy!
      - Rigatoni all' Amatriciana: This pasta was incredible! The sauce was savory and slightly spicy, and the pasta was perfectly al dente.

TL;DR: Perfect wine bar for a relaxed happy hour or dinner. We loved the Orange Wine, Cheese/Salami Board, and Rigatoni!

I came during one of their happy hours and it did not disappoint. As an aside, the hours of operation for their happy hour are very generous.

The owner was very friendly and despite being one of two people in there when I visited, he was open to make conversation with anyone interested.

I came to finish off my work but unfortunately they do not have wifi. This wasn't a huge issue though because the ambiance more than made up for it.

The interior is moody, warm, and transports you out of San Francisco. A book would have made a perfect pairing, not a computer, for the setting.

The food and wine were also amazing. The pizza I ordered was light and delicious with the beer crust on a pizza I've ever had.

The crowd started to pick up right before their break so depending on the vibe you're looking for, I'd recommend going in the early afternoon for quiet and closer to closing for a lively environment.

Nice little wine shop in the Cole Valley neighborhood.

Came here on a Friday for happy hour, we got a couple glasses of wine, the squash blossoms and a margherita pizza. It was all tasty and the wine was good!
Would definitely come back here. Good service too :)

This is a local favorite for my wife and I. Their happy hour is great. Always new interesting wines to try. The margarita pizza is not your typical margarita pizza. It's thicker and rectangular. But still delicious. We usually get the herbed almonds. I like the pickled vegetables too. All are on the happy hour menu.

The service is VERY nice. The place is tiny inside, but romantic. It's a great date spot.

For dinner I recommend the gnocchi. It's pretty epic.

      I highly recommend this place!

Margarita pizza and almonds. Both mostly eaten:) yum!

While the food may be above average and the wine list as well came here on Monday 8/05/24 at 4 pm and they were closed. The website and yelp report the hours as happy hour being between 3 and 5. Someone was in the restaurant but refused to come out when a group of individuals were clearly waiting. It took 25 minutes for someone to come out to say they open at 5. Would love to get advanced warning. Walked down the street to Cole valley tavern where they are open at the stated time.

Open hours don't start at 3 like their menu says. They start at 5. Just letting y'all know. Strange since it says that their happy hour is supposed to be from 3-5. Happens I guess but it's a bit frustrating.

Was very excited to try this place out due to the great reviews but I was underwhelmed. I would give it a 3.5/5.

Ambiance - cure and romantic, dimly lit. However it is so small inside and the tables are placed very close together, making it tough to hear each other. It was also incredibly hot and stuffy when we went during the winter.

Service - friendly and warm staff

Food - we got the persimmon salad which was delicious; the broccolini was fresh and tasty, the red sauce pasta was good but nothing to rave about, and i personally would skip the pizzas (which were more like large fluffy flatbreads). Food was decent, but nothing special.

Wine - i tried three different wines that were all recommended (a pinot noir, blend, and cab) but unfortunately didn't love any of them. That being said, it's nice that they do half pours of their wines which means you can try more!

Quiet, lovely, and intimate space. Live close to this and see many locals also go here. Food is slightly on the pricier side but it is a wine bar, that's to be expected. Staff are always willing to answer any questions about the wine. They welcome you to try the wine too.

Great pasta and pizza. The ambiance is cozy and charming here. I love the open concept of the kitchen and watching them cook. Indoor and outdoor seating. We got the rigatoni with red sauce and the salsiccia and broccolini pizza. Well priced for serving size. We walked in no reservation on a Saturday night @ 730. Highly recommend!

Great neighborhood place. The food is unassuming, but very tasty. The pizza slap w/ pesto drizzle!! Great service as well. Good on a summer day to sit outside and sip some vino.
