I highly recommend Interstate Propane!! My experience with interstate propane began after a horrible experience with another propane company. I had many times run out of propane with the other company having to wait two weeks without heat or hot water. The hot water heaters pilot lights went out and ruined both tanks. After replacing them, they let us run dry again. At this point I was calling for 4 weeks straight to get propane. Having two elderly parents living with you with no hot water was difficult.
Interstate propane came to the rescue. Within two days I not only had propane but hot water and heat in the house. We were so grateful at their quick response. The drivers have always been courteous. We have not run out in the last two years and they always keep us topped off so that we don't run the risk of running out. We have two hot water, heaters, gas, propane tank for the barbecue, as well as a stove and heat for the house. In a family of five we go through a lot of propane. And they keep us going. I can't recommend them enough!

Had delivery issues from one of there competitors gave Interstate a call. They were very responsive and all about service. Although the rain was a deterrent this year in swapping out my tank. They followed up timely to accommodate the change over. I'm looking forward to dealing with this company going forward.

Awesome customer service! You won't go wrong switching to these folks. They have never, ever, left me hanging. Even when the others couldn't get to our neighborhood due to snow, Interstate chained up and delivered propane. Always a helpful person at the other end of the phone is an additional plus!!!

New to this propane thing but so far I'm very impressed with Interstate Propane. I called to let them know I purchased a house and had an existing tank belonging to them on the property. I set up an account with them and Adam (service tech) came out and did his leak and appliance test. While doing this he discovered our range and oven had not been converted from its manufacturer setting of natural gas. He asked to see our manufacture's pack that had the owners manual for the range in which he found the brass fitting for the conversation set. He then proceeded to convert our appliance (free of charge). Very friendly and knowledgeable guy! The service on the phone setting up the appointment and talking about fees and schedules has also been amazing. Very impressed!

Saw them at last falls home and garden show in Auburn. We ordered propane and got our neighbor to fill up their tanks at the same time. Price was even less then they quoted us. Great staff and a very pleasant experience.

I would NEVER recommend this company - the worst customer service! I was told by two different people I would have propane delivered on Wednesday (they knew I was less then 5%) Wednesday rolls around no delivery. Thursday rolls around and I'm being told that I need to be home, I'm COD, FIRST I have heard of this! They CUSTOMER service is HORRIBLE!
