In a world where dealers and car buyers like to take advantage of people, I really appreciate Salem's honesty and fairness. Sold our broken car to Ion a couple months ago, felt it was a reasonable price given that the car didn't start. I also felt he was honest in telling us what he thought the value of the car was. This review has been a long time coming. What can I say that everyone hasn't said already? Salem is the antithesis of your typical cars salesman. He is honest and has a ton of integrity. He truly wants to do what's best for you (the customer), going above and beyond all the time.

I first encountered Salem when Ion cars about 7 years ago when it was located in San Francisco. I wanted to see if he would purchase my Volkswagon Passat. He offered a price (a fair one and more than I could get on a trade in), but also said I would probably end up getting a better price selling it privately. I did end up going that route but didn't forget Salem. I really appreciated his straight talk and service to the customer.

A few years back, I did sell him a Honda CRV. I came to the dealership with a number in mind. He offered me a bit more than anticipated, and I took the offer on the spot. He ensured everything with the car and we had a deal.

Last year, I approached Salem about trying to find a Prius C at a certain price point, year, and mileage. He checked out various sites over the next month or so until he found something that met the criteria. He gave me a call and let me know the total cost before preceding. I gave him the green light to get the car. A few weeks later the car was ready for pick up, as described (looking new).

Salem is the very best. He is not only handsome, but very nice and pleasant. I appreciate his honesty. Very happy to hear his compliment on my car, since I loved driving my BMW.
