On our arrival in Victoria, we decided to go to Island Poke for dinner as we wanted something quick and easy. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. We built our own and they added lots of extras for us. Highly recommend in downtown Victoria!

Probably the best Poke I've had so far! I built my own bowl and was really happy with how it turned out. The fish tasted really fresh and I loved the variety of topping options. It was a great value for the price too. Highly recommend!

Came here on a Saturday night and it was very nice! Nobody else was in. I got a salad bowl with tuna and shrimp. Portions were big and for a great price! Will be back again :)

I was really craving a good salmon Poké when I was traveling around Victoria and I'm glad I came across this place!

Really fresh and flavorful fish with a lot of options and variety. I packed on all the ingredients into my bowl. The portion sizes are filling as well and a good price for the amount of food you get.

I enjoyed my regular poke bowl w brown rice. Was completely shocked by the mixing of my fish and condiments in the bowl. Almost sad. It tasted fresh but I'd rather taste the marinated fish (I chose marinated salmon and tuna) separately. Having spent a lot of time in Hawaii, I would not call this a poke bowl, but a riff on it. If you're craving sushi or poke, Def visit! But don't expect limu, furikake, or traditional poke fixings or presentation etc.

Regular poke bowl with brown rice, to stay.

I'm glad to have a place to have poke in Victoria.
It's so fun to order because there are a lot of choices. You can choose your favorite rice , fish , vegetables, topping and sauce.
But I'd like to try the menu they already have instead of customizing my own next time since I felt I mixed some ingredients which don't go well together :/ It was still good though.
The price is pretty good too. I had a lot of raw fish and I paid about 12 dollars. I was full after I finished but my stomach felt good. I think it's a really good deal :)
I will definitely come back again !!

For what it is it's pretty good! I lived in Hawaii all my life until this year, so seeing a poké place I got pretty excited! Definitely not the traditional poké you'd get at the market in Hawaii but it's good. They have a LOT of interesting toppings, I personally would never get corn or chickpeas with my poké but that's up to everyone's tastes! The fish tastes pretty fresh. I got the island bowl two different times, pretty consistent with flavors.

It was alright, I got the Island Bowl (large). The fish was okay freshness but I wasn't a huge fan of the marinade for the tuna. The portion size was also quite small; if they're only giving that much fish it would be nice if there was more base at least. I chose a mixed base (rice and lettuce) which I definitely recommend because just one would be too overwhelming. After the mix all the toppings looked pretty but I couldn't really taste any of it. I also didn't feel the sauce was anything special.

The service was pretty friendly though.

      Niggardly.
      Definition:
      Adjective,
      Not generous. Stingy.
      " A niggardly serving of protein "

Sold as a LARGE signature bowl, twas really a 'poke light'.
      UNBALANCED: too much Brown rice,
3 tiny scoops of fish cubes, a niggardly portion of protein swathed in bland sticky mayo like substance lacking acidity. Could not detect sesame, nor umami flavoring.
      Toppings equally small.
      Literally hard to detect.
      And not memorable.

Not a 2 star rating because I was hungry and consumed the meal. Nourishing but not filling.
      No condiments offered.

      Space is tidy.
      Staff are pleasant.
Parking on the street cost 3 bucks.

      Value?
      Not good.
      The "large" was small.
      Other size was miniscule.
      Pretty looking.
      Designer poke?

Dplus or low c minus just under 17 bucks left hungry!

What I like about this place:
      - Wide variety of toppings
      - Toppings are fresh and clean
      - Reasonably priced - $12.50 after tax for a regular bowl (comes with 2 proteins - I recommend the scallops and marinated salmon - and 6 toppings)

Great take-out option for lunch or dinner! They also have a good amount of seating inside for dining in smaller groups.
