Jack London Square - Market Garage

This review is only for the Tesla Superchargers.

Lots of spaces are typically available. However you do have to pay to exit the garage as if you were paying to park. The hourly rate is only $2. But if you only come here to charge it makes it questionable that those charging have to pay a parking fee.

Because the garage is covered you don't have to worry about getting rained on or excessive heat.

But this garage is always dirty. There was even pee at one the charger stalls.

Worst location ever.. it smells like piss, you have to pay at the gate to exit and it's basically not even a super charger, very slow charging! Other locations are almost double the speed.

There are a lot of parking spaces and the interior is well lit. However, the signage is inadequate. The pay stations are difficult to find and the two that I located were broken. The pay station at the exit did not read my credit card and I was only able to leave because the person behind me used his monthly pass to let me out. I won't be back.

Stairwell doors locked after I parked my car. No staff to assist. Ticket reader was missing from the payment machine on the ground floor. Call button for the elevator was missing. I recommend double parking instead of using this garage.

This is the single worst lot and worst experience I've had.

My cars have been broken into 4 times. I paid $160 per month for the pleasure of $8,000 in windows and insurance claims.

A cover was stolen from a car and later used as a tent in a homeless camp.

Stairs smell like piss. Same with elevators.

If you live in the neighborhood I would encourage you to find a spot in a private building instead.

Customer service sucks.

Honestly, just a terrible experience.

Cancelling, which I did today, was the only highlight of this experience.

I've been a monthly customer for less than 4 full months and during that time:

1) I've come across elevators reeking of urine and various types of smoke

2) My car was broken into - window smashed all over the car - and no one from the "security" team bothered to call me

3) My monthly rate was raised

4) Half of the 5th floor had their car windows smashed in. Of those, many were attempted stolen (according to security)

5) The only time I've seen security is AFTER a crime (well, multiple). No wonder these punks think they can get away with it. They can!

Totally unsafe for yourself, your family and your car. Security does nothing . Don't park there. Period

Your car will get broken into repeatedly and they won't do anything to prevent or help. Do not park your car here.

It was so easy to find a parking at this garage and close to Amtrak. I recommend this lot for everyone.

Don't park here unless you want you car broken into - even if you have nothing in the vehicle car windows are smashed - sometimes even several dozen in one evening. You are better off parking on the streets, and probably much safer.
