This place is one of the best in town honestly. I have been coming here for 18 years. Not only is this place family owned and run but they welcome you like you're part of the family. The service is amazing and the food will keep you coming back for more.

this was a total surprise. With the name "Jack's i"n the title, I thought it might be one of those "Chinese" restaurants like Ming's used to be. (they offered sweet & sour pork, lemon chicken and chop suey). But no. Jack's lived up to the reviews. Super food. Super fresh and large portions. Worth every dime. I just wish I lived closer

Mushroom Chow Mein which is now $13.95 few bean sprouts & hardly any mushrooms!

I have never written a review for anything, let along for food. But we live in the Westshore and have always loved a good Chinese takeout. Hands down, these guys are the best. It like getting Mad Greek pizza instead of Dominos, ya it might be 80 bucks for everything you want vice 60 bucks, but you will actually want to eat all the leftovers. Get the Kung Po Chicken, its the same as Kung Poa Chicken, and get it extra spicy... I used a dish towel to dry the sweat.

We had a delivery tonight and the food was not quite what we expected from these reviews. Veggies in the Buddhist Veg were overcooked, the broccoli was so soft it seemed previously frozen. The hot and sour soup was bland, and the rice was pretty gummy.

I'm really sorry to post this and I wanted to contact the restaurant directly, but they only seem to have a land line: there was an odd... thing in the Buddhist Veg. I wanted to show them the pic but I'll post it here. I'd love to know what anybody thinks it is. It was stretchy but taut. I know what I think it is but I want a different answer.

Delicious Chinese food at affordable prices. Highly recommend trying one of the chow mein and fried rice variations. The food isn't overly greasy, and the portions are quite generous.

The shop isn't very large, and folks seem to prefer takeout to dine-in (since pre-COVID). If only they could deliver to us!

If I'm passing through the area, I'd stop by again for lunch or dinner. I'd like to try more of the menu, and I think I missed out on some good appetizers.

I know this is a small business, so I really hope they make it through the pandemic. Friendly people, good food, no complaints here!

Best Chinese food in the city. I've been going to them for years and they have never disappointed me. They accommodated my diet and food preferences without any issues. Love this place!

We ordered house special chow main, scallops and snow peas, and sweet and sour lean pork. We were happy with all the orders. They delivered exactly when they said it would come. They packaged it so it arrived hot and ready to eat.
The menu had lots to choose from. The shrimps were excellent as were the scallops.
We will order again from Jacks CHINESE Restaurant.

Usually great food, but this time the Wonton soup had no flavor- quite watered down. Hope they improve and go back to normal.

Decent food at reasonable prices. We ordered takeout, so I can't speak to the restaurant by we enjoyed our meal.
